Gladys Louise (Sager) Oyer, 101, of Hoffman Road, Waverly, Ohio passed at 10:38 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Williams Wilson House. Gladys was born May 11, 1917 in Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clinton W. Sager and Inez (Neil) Sager. On July 2, 1938 Gladys was united in marriage to Alonzo Pearl Oyer, who preceded her in death on October 3, 2013. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers, Edwin, Glenn, Ivan, Russell, Earl, and Marvin Sager, and two infant sisters, Geraldine Sager and Inez Sager. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly, with Pastor Doug Campbell, officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly. Family will receive friends at the Boyer Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Friday.
