At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Gilberte De Angelis (nee Ranger) of Alexandria; age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Raymond De Angelis. Loving mother of Claire Quewezence (Ray), Sylvie Allan (Randy), Manon Quesnel (Germain) (late Gerard) and Lucy Briand (Daniel). Cherished grandmother of Mervyn, Ethan, Owen, Calyn, Nicholas, Ashley and Starr and great-grandmother of Annabelle, Gabrielle, Ozwald, Thea and Miah. Dear sister of Elizabeth Ranger (Leo), Murielle Ranger (late Roland) and Jean-Claude (Monique). Predeceased by her parents Jean-Baptiste and Yvonne Ranger (nee Poirier). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd. , 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 11 am until 1 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Eglise Sacre-Coeur on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1:30 pm. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Gilberte, a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
