"Gilbert Wayne Johnson, son of Donald Wayne Johnson and Brooksie Jane (Edde) Johnson, was born on October 11, 1955 in Urbana, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, May 6, 2023 at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Johnson. He is survived by one son, Andy Wayne Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona; his mother Brooksie Johnson of Urbana, Missouri, two sisters, Janie Eidson of Roach, Missouri, and Sandy Rice and husband Melvin of Sedalia, Missouri, one brother, John (Mike) Johnson of Tipton, Missouri; two granddaughters, Melanie Johnson and Emily Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness and Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo, Missouri.
