Derrick Sinclair Givings was born on September 27, 1981, to the parents of Eugene and Irene Givings, in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He attended Atlantic West Elementary School, Margate Middle School, Dillard High School and Broward College.  During his childhood years, he became a member of Highway Holiness Church ofChrist, now known as, New Covenant Deliverance Cathedral under the leadership of Bishop Ralph Grissett.Derrick was a very outgoing person who was full of laughter. If you were feeling down, his silliness would definitely lift you up. He was an optimist who offered encouraging words when warranted. He was a conversationalist who stood firm in his beliefs. On any given topic, if you had a different perspective from him, he was ready to evaluate and challenge your ideas, without confrontation. Whenever he was in his family’s presence, he gave hugs that could calm a storm. His good deeds will forever be in our hearts, and he will truly be missed by many. Derrick was the owner of Deez Hands Therapeutic Massage LLC. He displayed a passion for the healing art of Massage Therapy. He was flexible and dictated to his clients. He promoted his business on different social media platforms in an effort to attract new clients.  On February 13, 2024, Derrick transitioned from this life. In his passing, he leaves to cherish fond memories of his father, Eugene Givings (Wilta); Mother, Irene Givings (deceased); Special Son-In-Heart, Derrick Givings, Jr. (Tashelle); three sisters: Alexis Givings, Erica Pierce, and Ayana Smith; two brothers: Jerry Givings and Lamonte Givings (Nicole); four nephews, Kevin Miller, Jr. (Tanika), Kevin Willis, Maurice Williams and Marquice Williams; one niece, Jamya Givings; two great nieces; Liv Miller and Suviie Givings; one great nephew, Cole Miller and a host of other relatives and friends.

Jaylin Stephon Conorquie made his grand entrance into the world on July 11,2003 to the parents of Shanque Lewis and Herlin Conorquie.Jaylin also goes by the name of Jay! Was a quiet young man whose smile could light up a room. And his laugh was so contagious. He attended Royal Palm Elementary and when he was in the 3rd grade he completed a test and was labeled as a gifted student. Jay was a bright child who excelled in his academic. He later attended Lauderhill 6-12 graduated and then went to Boyd Anderson High school.Outside of school Jaylin used to praise dance at Christian community church of god in lauderhill,Florida. That’s where his love for music started, as he got into his late teens Jaylin was an aspiring rap artist. His music was his passion and was on his way to becoming and upcoming artist.On February 13th 2024 Jaylin gained his wings. He left behind his Mother Shanque Lewis, Father Herlin Conorquie, 5 brothers, 3 sisters, Grandmothers Monica Lewis and Diana, Lewis Kennedy and Gary Hewitt and a host of 6 aunts, and 4 uncles, countless of cousins and other relativesOur hearts are broken by Jay’s loss. We will forever keep precious memories of him near and dear to our hearts. We love you forever Jaylin. May you sleep in peace in thee arms of our Heavenly Father long live JAY!

Ramona “Rambo” Cruz Ramona Cruz of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away peacefully on February 13, 2024. Our beloved Rambo was born on January 15, 1925, in Guayama Puerto Rico. She relocated from Puerto Rico to Brooklyn, NY in 1955 and was widowed 8 years later. Ramona is preceded in death by her parents Alfonso Cruz & Gregoria DeJesus, husband Juan Nepomuceno Gonzalez, Son Jose Gonzalez, grandson Albert Gonzalez. Siblings: Juan, Maria, Bartola and Luis Cruz. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished time with her family and friends. She was a prayer warrior who loved our Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart and soul. Her daily way of life, words of wisdom and instruction were very simple yet profound “love, respect and take care of each other, always ask God to help you and protect you and forgive one another” this is what she instilled in her family, and this is the way we will live in her legacy. Ramona is survived by her children Lourdes Caldeyro, Emma Vasquez (Juan Vasquez), Reynaldo Gonzalez, Daughter-in-law Nitza Gonzalez. Her brother Tomas Cruz (Juanita Cruz) and a host of nieces and nephews. Grand Children: Michelle Torres-Lopez (Michael Torres-Lopez), Lourdes Liebovitz (Stephan Liebovitz), John Raymond Caldeyro (Kristen Caldeyro), Jose Gonzalez Jr., Enrique Gonzalez, Anthony Gonzalez, Josette Gonzalez, Michael Umlauf (Grace Umlauf), Stephan Umlauf (Shirley Umlauf), Jacklyn Pacetti (Anthony Pacetti), Stephanie Mendoza (Emerson Mendoza), Michelle Gonzalez, Reynaldo Gonzalez (Elizabeth Gonzalez), Idalia Gonzalez, Noah Gonzalez. Henry Morris Henderson Sr. was born on May 29, 1940, to Polly Mae Henderson. He was raised inMacon, Georgia and attended Ballard Hudson Senior High School. Henry graduated from high school in1959 and moved to Miami, Florida to live with his mother. His intention was to join the military but hismother, a Jehovah’s Witness, taught him the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Henry soon abandonedhis intention of serving in the military and became a servant of Jehovah instead. He was baptized onJune 4, 1960.In September 1960, Henry met Mildred O’neal at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Theymarried on December 14, 1960 and raised five children together (two daughters and three sons). In themid 1960s, a congregation was needed in the north Dade area of Miami-Dade County and the BunchePark Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses was founded. Henry was appointed to congregation servantand was the first to lead with this title at the Bunche Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses (nowknown as the Honey Hill Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses). Until his passing on February 2, 2024,Henry was the eldest of the four remaining original members of the Bunche Park Congregation ofJehovah’s Witnesses.For a short period of time, Henry worked as an orderly for Jackson Memorial Hospital. On January 23,1985, Henry gained employment with the City of Opa Locka’s Water & Sewer Department. He started asa meter reader and advanced to the position of a meter reader supervisor. Henry worked as a dedicatedemployee for the City of Opa Locka’s Water & Sewer Department until his retirement on June 30, 2002.After retirement, Henry became a regular pioneer in the Honey Hill congregation. He was veryinfluential in the ministry and aided others to become faithful servants of Jehovah. Henry was extremelyknowledgeable about the scriptures and was often referred to as a walking encyclopedia of biblicalknowledge. He was an honest man that led by example. He was an elder, a confidant and father figureto many. Henry was not a man of many words but when he spoke it was words of wisdom.Henry’s pastimes included reading, walking, watching his favorite television shows- Judge Judy andWheel of Fortune. When family gatherings were held, Henry was the designated grill master. He lovedspending time with his beloved Mildred and had an unquestionable love for his family. His children,grandchildren, and great grandchildren adored the quality time he spent with them. In fact, the greatgrandchildren received the best side of Papa, as he was affectionally called.Henry Henderson is survived by his wife Mildred Henderson, his five children (Sonya Henderson, HenryMorris Henderson Jr., Zerald Henderson Sr. (Patrice), Melissa Henderson (aka Lisa), and CarlosHenderson (Tanya), his eight grandchildren (Tashara Alleyne, Travarri Johnson, Tia Ford (Courtney),Ziandra Henderson, Zerald Henderson Jr., Justin Ponder, Jaslyn Henderson, and Jamal Henderson), eightgreat grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. His siblings include Abdul El-Amin (A.K.A.Lorenzo), Raymond Cummings Sr., and Prudence Williams.Henry also leaves behind a worldwide congregation of spiritual brothers and sisters.A tribute to my Husband/Our FatherMildred (wife of 63 years)-My Henry will truly be missed. He was the love of my life for 63 years.Sonya (Daughter) -My Dad meant the world to me. He was the first man I loved. He was my confidant,my protector, and financial advisor. He taught me to never live beyond my means. He was aperfect/imperfect man on this earth, and he will truly be missed.Zerald (Son)- What I admire most about Dad was his humility. I would thank Dad often for teaching methe truth. Dad would always say to me, “I’m just a good for nothing slave. What I have done is what Iought to have done.” (Luke 17:10)Melissa (Daughter)- Thank you for your unconditional love, patience, and guidance. Your foundation hasalways allowed me to make conscience and sound decisions. You always gave me fatherly advice andbiblical advice, I am going to miss your words of wisdom. You will always remain in my heart. I love youDaddy.Carlos (Son)- Daddy was my role model and my hero. Some people look to athletes for a role model, butDaddy was everything that a man is supposed to be. He was faithful to Mom and his faith in Jehovahnever wavered.
