Obituary of Gertrude Davis Mrs. Gertrude Davis, age 90 passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the Bells Nursing Home. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 2:30 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Chele officiating. Burial will follow in Stanton Cemetery. A visitation will be Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home from 1:30 - 2:30 PM. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Walter N. Davis, her parents, William Joe and Nettie Pearl Stokes Manley, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Jean Davis, Jackson, TN, three sisters, Jessie Turner, Jackson, TN, Lottie Davis and Wilma Campbell (Royce) both of Brownsville, TN and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Stanton Cemetery, c/o Amy Wagner, P.O. Box 207, Stanton, TN 38069 or the Charity of the donor's choice.
