Gerry "Mighty" Graham was born on September 23, 1939 at Ainsworth, Nebraska to Sam Frank Graham and Alice I. Hastings Graham. He entered into rest on August 15, 2023. He attended Country School, Springview Grade School, and graduated from Springview High School with the class of 1957. On March 17, 1956 he was united in marriage to Stella Grooms at Chadron, Nebraska. To this union were born three children: Luanne Marie, Steven Gerry, and Laurene Lyn. Gerry was a mechanic, a truck driver, hauled cars, and had a motorcycle dealership. Gerry and Stella were involved in ABATE of Nebraska and The Christian Motorcycle Assn. They went to many rallies, secular events, and Sturgis. Gerry is survived by his wife Stella of Ainsworth, his children Luanne (Monty) Reed of Ainsworth, Steve (Peggy) Graham of Ainsworth, and Reno (Chris) Jeffries of Edgewood, Kentucky along with 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson, his sisters Enid Worth and Aliene Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Avis Hollopeter.

passed away surrounded by her loving family at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky, on November 27, 2023. She was 73 years old. Born on June 8, 1950, in Dubuque, Iowa, she was the daughter of Donald C. McCord and Mildred J. [Lex] McCord. Cindy was the beloved wife of 53 years to John Bailey; treasured mom of Sarah Rogers (Tommy), Jason Bailey (Lauren), and Heather Bailey (Brad Snowden); cherished sister to Jennifer Tigges (Ron) and Marie Yeager (George) and sister-in-law to Larry Bailey (Ramona); and beloved grandma Cici to Caroline, Jerry, Sloane, and Finn. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry McCord. Cindy met her husband, John, on a blind date in 1969. He was captivated by Cindy's beautiful blue eyes, and after a year and some days they married in her hometown. In 1977, they settled in Northern Kentucky in order to start a family. A natural nurturer, Cindy's life's work both personally and professionally revolved around caring for others and their well-being. She was a registered nurse and provided care to many over the course of her career in hospitals, workplaces, and homes. Cindy possessed a knack for cooking and was adventurous in her practice. Her tastes ranged widely, from elaborate gourmet meals to homestyle cooking such as chicken and dumplings and strawberry preserves. After retirement from nursing, Cindy filled her days practicing yoga, reading with her book club, and creating art and jewelry. She loved to travel, regularly visiting the Great Smoky Mountains and finding relaxation on cruises in the Caribbean and Alaska. She was always planning her next adventure, often inviting friends and family to make new memories together. Cindy truly loved her friends and family and will be remembered for all the joy and enthusiasm she shared with each of them. Jim Davis Obituary Jim Davis 59, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, Kentucky. Jimmie Lee Davis, II was born December 28, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Jimmie Lee and Margery Ann Neal Davis. Jim was a proud native of Owensboro, the place he called home throughout most of his life. He was a 1981 graduate of Daviess County High School and then went on to further his education at Kentucky Wesleyan College earning an Associate Degree in Nursing. As a U. S. Marine Veteran, Jim was a man of great patriotism. His love for his country was palpable, and he held an immense respect for the flag. His service to his country was a point of personal pride and a testament to his character. Jim is survived by a son, Jimmie Lee Davis, III of Owensboro; a grandson, Jett Davis; his parents, Jim and Marge Davis of Knottsville; and two sisters, Sonya DuPont and Shelley Davis both of Ft. Born on January 15, 1954, in Covington, Kentucky, Mark lived a life filled with love, laughter, and countless friendships. Mark was a man who lived life to the fullest. He was hardworking, a trait that was evident in every endeavor he undertook. He possessed a work ethic that was unrivaled and an ability to inspire those around him with his unwavering commitment. His dedication not only extended to his work but also to his family and friends, whom he loved deeply. Mark possessed a love for the outdoors that was unparalleled. An avid hunter and shooter, he found immense joy in the serenity and challenge of these pursuits. His passion for ocean fishing was infectious, often resulting in unforgettable adventures with friends and family alike. Mark was known for his ability to make friends wherever he went, his infectious humor, and his warm, welcoming nature making him a beloved figure in every community he was part of. Despite his many interests and hobbies, Mark's true passion was his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 47 years, Pat, and a loving father to his sons, Nick (Bernadette) Warning and Eric (Kristen) Warning. He was also a doting grandfather to Tina, David, Anna, Hope, Knox, and Finn. His love for his family was evident in every interaction, his actions always speaking louder than his words. He is also survived by his sister, Maryjo Scheid (Jerry) Ream. Mark was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy and Bobby Warning. Mark's legacy is one of love, commitment, and generosity. Carol Jean (Ayers) Redmond, 78, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023, at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, Kentucky with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Jennings and Mary Catherine (Perry) Ayers and was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jennings Jr. , and husband Larry "Frog" Redmond. Carol worked tirelessly to make others happy, including countless family meals and holiday gatherings where she loved to try out new recipes. She had a successful residential and commercial cleaning business with her daughter Leha, until her retirement in 2015. Carol volunteered for over 25 years with Big Stef, Inc. , a local Newport charity that supported the less fortunate in northern Kentucky, known for their food basket distribution each December. She was instrumental in organizing fundraisers and helped with the visits to area senior citizen centers. She loved being outdoors and turning her small backyard into an oasis of beauty and color, while watching the birds and other small creatures enjoy whatever treats she provided. She was very kind hearted and went out of her way to welcome people into her home if they needed a friend or a place to feel cared about and loved. Carol is survived by her three devoted children, Michael Hall, Leha (Ken) Schutte, and Perrie (Joe) Lahner, who cared for her in her home over the last several months. Grandchildren Andy, Holli, Ashley, Tyler, Adam, Morgan, Jordan, Zachary, Nicole, Olivia, and great granddaughter Kamryn, who all affectionally called her "Bemaw". She was the dearly loved matriarch of the family and life will not be the same without her in it. True to her giving nature, Carol continued to give even at the end by donating her body to the University of Cincinnati for medical research to benefit others. Ruth Else Steuver, 92, of Crescent Springs, Kentucky passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky on October 26, 2023. She was born on January 3, 1931, to Walter Louis and Frieda Press Weber in Penntown, Indiana. In 1950, Ruth married Carroll William Steuver, Jr. (Bill), and together they raised four children. Her family spent much of their lives on the west side of Cincinnati, but as grandkids came, she and Bill moved to Crescent Springs. Ruth was the premier babysitter--she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill died in 2001 after 51 years of marriage. Afterward, Ruth met widower Harry Kenkel. They were married for 11 years before his death in 2013. Those surviving who will cherish Ruth's memory include her children, William (Kathy Downey) Stiver, Karen (Steve) Schwaid, Rebecca (Ron) Schierer, and John Steuver; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Patrick and Peter Stiver, Ben and Adam Schwaid, Kelly Nascimento, and Heather Davis, and five great-grandchildren, Ruby, Violet, Everly, Aiden and Owen. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and sister, Lois Klipfel. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 10:30 a. m. until time of service at 11 a. m. at St. John's UCC - Penntown, 8891 E County Road 1300 N Sunman, IN 47041.
