With hearts of sorrow, The Memorial Funeral Home Staff requests your prayers for thefamily and friends of Mr. L. C. Hamilton, Sr. L. C. Hamilton was born February 8, 1933, in Homer, Louisiana to the late Henry "Buddy" and Corine Hamilton. L. C. accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a faithful member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church until his health began to decline. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering love for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his dedication to being a hard worker from his days at Ludlow Packing Company where he retired after decades of service to cutting down trees, hauling strap, and ensuring the upkeep of the church cemetery. L. C. met no stranger; he was known for bringing joy and laughter to all those he encountered. He had a true passion for the great outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting, particularly coon and squirrel hunting. He was also a huge fan of the game of baseball. L. C. united in holy matrimony to Geneva Thomas on November 29, 1963, and they shared two sons. They were married for 60 years, until his death. L. C. was preceded in death by his mother, Corine Hamilton, and father Henry "Buddy" Hamilton; three brothers, John D. , M. C. , and Henry "Bill"; six sisters, Nellie Ruth, Mary Helen, Vera, Margie, Helen Sims, and Dorothy "Dif"; one daughter, Helen Grace Doss and a grandson, Stanley Hamilton. Our beloved L. C. will be forever remembered by his loving wife, Geneva Hamilton; four sons, C. L "C-Bird" (Clara), L. C. "Jr. " (Brenda), Aaron Thomas and Jeffery "Skinner" Hamilton of Homer, Louisiana; one daughter, Betty Jo (Dupree) Hamilton-Torrence of Greensburg, Louisiana; one sister, Clarice Keaton of Compton, California; eighteen grandchildren, Vic, Lisa, Tawain, Jeffery, Mario, Quintessa, Tanika, Lashanda, Darryl, Latonya, Anthony, Tasha, Travis, Jeffery "Pooh", LaCorrionne "LA", JoAntionette, Lashonda, and Demetrice. He also leaves to cherish a very special friend Deacon Johnny Ramey, who rarely missed a day of checking on both L. C and his wife. Also, a very special daughter-in-law who sacrificed her days to take care of him. And C. L. and Clara for the many doctor's appointments. To plant Memorial Trees in memory of Mr. L. C.
