Daisy Ellen Hamilton, age 67 years, of Corbin, Kentucky died Saturday February 17, 2024 at the Baptist Health of Corbin.She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 4, 1956 the daughter of Clifton and Marie (Perry) Ketron. Ellen had worked as an EMT and served on the Eagle -Sawyer Fire Department and was a member of the Ryan’s Creek Baptist Church. Being with family and doing crafts were her favorite things.Her parents; brother, Charles Ketron; sisters, Joyce Pennington and Linda Legeza; and a twin brother and sister precede her in death.Survivors include her fiancé; Herbert Lee Wells of Corbin, Kentucky; daughters; Melissa Rose (Jason) and Crystal Hamilton (Brian) both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; son; Cody Wells (Danielle) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; brother; Roy Ketron (Sue) of Toledo, Ohio; sister; Rhonda Swain (Jody) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; grandchildren; Mekayla (Ryan) Sumner, Austin Mitchell, Brayden Mitchell, Taylar Rose, Cloe Rose, Levi, and Cassandra Mitchell; and great grandchildren; Beau, Easton, Kinsley and Kason Sumner, and Kohen, Emmy, and Sawyer Crabtree.Funeral services will be held 8pm Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Robert "Bob" George Specht age 69 of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed from this life on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Baptist Health of Corbin.He was born March 13, 1954 in Casper, Wyoming to the late William Specht and Helen Betty (Cook) Specht. Surviving family include his wife, Kimberly Ann (Ball) Specht whom he married, April 11, 1998; a son, Stephen "Steve" Specht of Colorado; daughters, Barbara Johnson of Pine Knot, Genny Allen (and Brandon) of Colorado, and Cherie Specht (and Ricky) of Colorado; step-children whom he loved as his own, Laura Richardson (and Troy) of Buffalo, KY and Tad Dolen of Hazard, KY; and grandchildren, Maya, Emma Kali, Kaiden, Ryker, Beckham, Sean, Ellie, Noah, Jacob, and Emma LeeAnn. Also surviving is a brother, William Specht and a sister, Elizabeth Specht, both of Casper, Wyoming; and many other extended family and friends who loved Bob dearly. Bob made a career as a Geologist, having received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming. He enjoyed nature, searching and studying rocks and understanding the structures of the earth. Bob was of the Presbyterian faith and through his belief, he also shared the same desire for discoveries. Bob enjoyed following Ron Wyatt, a respected biblical archaeologist, who like Bob, enjoyed seeking Biblical clues to show the world the fact of God. In his own personal life, he was a huge Wyoming Cowboys sports fan. Basketball, football, the men's team or women's, it didn't matter, he enjoyed it all. Bob was a very loved "papa". At home, he would create treasure hunts for the grandchildren, and it was no secret he was known for giving the best prizes. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. In keeping of his wishes, Cremation was chosen. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday after 1:00. Following the service, Bob will be placed in the Pine Knot Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the remaining expenses. Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

She was born March 1, 1957 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Earl Grundy and Goldie Mae (Stephens) Grundy. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her son, Steven Michael Perry; a fiancé, Charles Meeks; brothers, Junior Grundy, Ed Grundy, Ralph Grundy, Roger Grundy, Arnold King, Orville King, and Donald Gene King; and sisters, Bonnie Kay Grundy Troxell and Shirley Grundy Woods.Survivors include her daughters, Juilena Watson (and Brandon Tapley) and Paula Jo Penteger; a son, Charles Doug Meeks; grandchildren she raised as her own, Jacob Perry (and Victoria), Jacob Jr., and Deseray Grundy; grandchildren, Landon Winchester, Jordan Winchester, Kasey Winchester, Sherry Lynn Grundy Rose, Terri Nicole Grundy Sammons, Karrie Grundy Mabry, Gabe Grundy, Erica Winchester, and Casey Slaven Dick; and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Betty Jo Grundy Wright and Judy Maxine Grundy Coffey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews that Barb loved so dearly. Barbara was a member of the East Apple Tree Church of God. She loved arts and crafts. She would spend a lot of her time drawing, tracing, painting yard figurines, and coloring. Barb loved to listen to gospel music and play township. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery. She was the wife of John Warren, Jr., and they had many wonderful and cherished years together. Terri was a Speech Therapist and graduated from the University of Tennessee, and received her Masters degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; John Warren, Jr., her parents; Llewellyn Padgett and Nelson Preston Bingham, grandparents; Roder and Sarah Padgett and Ellen and William Boyd Bingham, her sister-in-laws; Prudy Warren Bundy (Charlie), Barbara Warren Hale (Bill), her brother-in-law; Randall Warren.Beloved survivors include her brothers; Ronnie Nelson Bingham (Robyn) and Rickie Lynn Bingham (Sherry), sister-in-laws, Patsy Warren Fuson (Jim), Pauline Warren Hammonds (Late- Dwayne), and brother-in-law; Ruffond Warren (Betty). Also beloved nephews; Rod Bingham (Ocie), Rickie Bingham, and Jerrid Bingham, niece; Brandi Bingham Wynn (Jamey). He was born in Bell County on February 20, 1933, the son of the late Birchel and Nannie Baker Smith. William proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He is an Honorable Kentucky Colonel, received the Ambassador of Peace Medal, and had retired from CSX Railroad.
