In the early 1990’s, she decided to further her education by attending Dental school at the University of Michigan, graduating in 1994 with her D.D.S. Dr. Newton went on to have a successful dental practice of her own in Rochester Hills, Michigan for over 20 years, retiring at the age of 73.
