Gerald Heller Obituary

Jerry Heller passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 94. He was married for almost 70 years to his loving wife, Harriet, who passed away last year. He was a wonderful father to their children, Rich and his wife, Karen, Diane and her husband, Craig, and a terrific grandfather to Brian and his wife, Amanda, Madeline and her husband, Tim, Phoebe, Eli and the greatest great grandfather to Marcus. We will all miss him very much. Jerry was born and grew up in Queens, New York. After serving in the army during the Korean War, he went to law school on the GI Bill and graduated from Brooklyn Law School. He then had a very long career as an attorney working for the IRS. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and traveling. He had a group of lifelong friends that he was still in touch with before his passing. Above all, he was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them. Funeral services will be graveside at Beth Moses Cemetery, 1500 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY on Sunday, October 8th at 12:30PM.
