Jerry Heller passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 94. He was married for almost 70 years to his loving wife, Harriet, who passed away last year. He was a wonderful father to their children, Rich and his wife, Karen, Diane and her husband, Craig, and a terrific grandfather to Brian and his wife, Amanda, Madeline and her husband, Tim, Phoebe, Eli and the greatest great grandfather to Marcus. We will all miss him very much. Jerry was born and grew up in Queens, New York. After serving in the army during the Korean War, he went to law school on the GI Bill and graduated from Brooklyn Law School. He then had a very long career as an attorney working for the IRS. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and traveling. He had a group of lifelong friends that he was still in touch with before his passing. Above all, he was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them. Funeral services will be graveside at Beth Moses Cemetery, 1500 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY on Sunday, October 8th at 12:30PM. Donations can be made in his memory to Alzheimer's New Jersey, https://www. alznj. org/ , a charity supported by Sunrise of Summit, where he spent the last years of his life.

Lorraine Kievning, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, has passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 24th, 2023. She will be dearly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Lorraine was born on January 24th, 1965 in Paterson, NJ to Alphonse DeMarco and Lorrie (McNeer) DeMarco. Lorraine had a vibrant personality and a zest for life that was truly infectious. She had a genuine love for people and was known as the life of every party. It was impossible to resist joining her on the dance floor when she would light up the room with her energy and enthusiasm. As a wife and mother, Lorraine's devotion knew no bounds. She was a loving and supportive presence in the lives of her husband Bill of 36 years and their daughter Alexis. Lorraine's dedication to her family went beyond words - she showed her love through her actions each and every day. Lorraine also took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. A hard worker with an impeccable work ethic, she found joy in keeping her home clean and organized. Her attention to detail was remarkable, and her loved ones could always count on Lorraine's home to be a cozy sanctuary filled with love. In addition to being an exceptional homemaker, Lorraine had a flair for creativity that she expressed through her hobbies and interests. She had an undeniable passion for arts and crafts and delighted in using her talents to decorate their home for each holiday season. Her artistic touch made every occasion extra special. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband Bill, their cherished daughter Alexis, her dear father Alphonse DeMarco, sister Terri Mellea, sister Anna Striano, parents-in-law Helene and Bill Kievning, sister-in-law Eileen, brother-in-law Mickey, six nieces, two nephews, four great-nieces, and one great-nephew. Each of these individuals held a special place in Lorraine's heart, and the love she shared with them will endure forever. She was predeceased by her loving mother Lorrie DeMarco in 2023. As we mourn the loss of Lorraine, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived. Her infectious laughter, caring nature, and boundless energy will forever be remembered. She leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that will continue to touch the lives of all those who were lucky enough to have known her. Neville T. Pamphile, 93 of Union, NJ, went home to Our Lord, on November 22, 2023. Neville was born on the island of Aruba, and was raised on the beautiful island of Trinidad & Tobago. Growing up in Trinidad, Neville developed many skills that helped him throughout his life. To Friends who knew him very well, Neville lived by the Motto: " Do it Yourself. " He was a very amiable person; always willing to help and share experiences with others. That was his way of being an exemplar friend to those that came in contact with him. Neville was reliable and dependable; in a positive way he always tried his best to tell you what you needed to hear, not what you wanted to hear. He respected the truth and facts. Neville had many passions in life, however, his passion for dance is what his love ones will remember the most. He was fortunate to share his dancing skills with the famed Trinidadian artist, Beryl McBurnie. His love for dance attributed to him maintaining great physical shape throughout the years. Neville immigrated to the United States in 1979. Due to his tenacity and hard work ethics, he became an Assistant Superintendent for Fairmount Apartments until he retired. A hard-working man, Neville dedicated most of his time to his career, which made him happy. He settled in Union New Jersey ,with his family in 1999. On his pastime, Neville enjoyed watching Soccer and Cricket. He revered the life and Career of his favorite Soccer player, Edson Arantes do Nascimento, best known for his nickname "Pele". Neville is the son of the late Neville Matthews and Julia Donation. He is survived by his wife, Morine Pamphile, beloved father to Nevilee Pamphile, Wendy Pamphile and Nadine Edwards, Loving brother to Gloria Crawford and Uncle to Setridge Crawford, Friend and Confidant to many friends and extended family. Kenneth "Ken West" West, 72, of Union, NJ entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Ken was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ prior to moving to Union in 1982. A skilled, self-employed carpenter for over 50 years, Ken's hands crafted countless homes throughout New Jersey. During his retirement, Ken was engaged in a variety of home improvement projects for his friends and family. Known as the life of the party, Ken had the ability to bring smiles to anyone he encountered. Among his joys were his tight-knit family, coffee and scratch off lottery tickets from QuickChek, trips to the casino, dirty martinis with Belvedere Vodka, watching football, dancing, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. For 42 years, Ken was the devoted husband of Theresa (DiGirolamo) West. Ken's legacy extends through his children William West and his wife Melissa, Amber Jimenez and her husband Brian, Michelle Aliseo and her husband Jeff, and Michael West and his wife Maria. Ken was the oldest brother to Daniel West (Michele), Donna West (Melvin), Laura Fernicola (Dennis), and the late Robert West. Ken also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Myles and Nora Rose Jimenez & Frank, Benjamin, and Peter Aliseo. Ken is remembered fondly by his dear brother-in-law Gary DiGirolamo and his many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Leonard Lee Funeral Home located at 301 E Blancke St. Linden. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023 at 9:30 AM at the Leonard Lee Funeral Home with a funeral Mass to follow at Holy Spirit Church in Union at 11:00 AM. Mary Fusco, 88 a devoted mother, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023, surrounded by her beloved daughters. She was born on October 3, 1935, in Newark, NJ, to the late Frank and late Philomena Cocuzza. Mary dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for her family. After working for Prudential for a number of years, she made the decision to become a stay-at-home mom following the birth of her wonderful daughters. Her career change allowed Mary to fully embrace her role as a mother and prioritize her family above all else. Her commitment to her loved ones was unwavering. Family was at the core of Mary's happiness and fulfillment. She treasured the time spent with her beloved family. Especially her late husband Angelo "Sonny"; and by her loving daughters Mary Ellen Kripaitis and her dear husband Bill, and Judy Supino and her dear husband Bart; her adored grandchildren Kimberly Oshust and her dear husband Toley, Erica DiMaio and her dear husband Mark, Nicole Supino and her dear friend Sam and Christine Supino and her dear friend Dylan. The joy that came from being a grandmother brought Mary immeasurable happiness. Her granddaughters were the light of her life. Mary enjoyed sharing every holiday with her entire extended family, spending summer vacations at the Jersey Shore where laughter was always a big part of getting together with each other. Outside her devotion to her family, Mary had a deep passion for visiting Atlantic City with Sonny, her daughters, sisters, and nieces. These excursions provided an opportunity for creating lasting memories that will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to join her. Her kind-hearted nature endeared her to everyone she met. Throughout her life's journey, she touched the lives of many with love and compassion. Mary by far was an avid animal lover who treasured her cats most of all. In honoring Mary's memory, it is important to recognize the proudest accomplishment of her life — dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her family. The love she shared with them will continue to be felt for generations to come. Mary Fusco will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion. Mary is survived by her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and a large extended family comprising of many nieces, nephews, and friends. We join together in mourning the loss of such an extraordinary individual while also celebrating the beautiful life she lived. May her soul rest in peace.
