Georgeanne Krause Obituary

Georgeanne Cecile Krause, passed away unexpectedly on April 20th, 2023, in Mount Vernon, Ohio at the age of 68. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 15th, 1954, to Patricia and Jon Krause and is survived by her children Alexandria and Westley Russell; sister Rebecca Vickery, and brother Jon Krause. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend who possessed a one-of-a-kind heart that the world will deeply miss. Georgeanne was born at University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She grew up on the West side of Columbus, Ohio attending Franklin Heights High School. After graduating, she went on to study Sociology at The Ohio State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science. Upon graduation she spread her joy and knowledge throughout the world through volunteer and activism work. After some time abroad she began her formal work career at Huntington National Bank where she excelled in marketing, building both internal and external lasting relationships and always looking out for the little guy. After stepping away from her marketing career with Huntington, she rediscovered her passion for teaching, working for the Columbus City School system as an aide for at risk/special need students. While her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death, they are electing to honor her everlasting spirit with a celebration of life; to be held at a later date.
