George Walter Zorn, 76, of Millville, received his homecoming on September 8, 2023. George was the son of Walter and Ruth Zorn. He grew up in Woodbury, New Jersey, and attended West Deptford High School. Trained as a journeyman pipe fitter, he worked at Dupont Chambers Works for 29 years. Even in his retirement, he shared his skills with family, friends and neighbors, and was always willing to help others with their projects. George was a believer saved by grace when he was a young man, trusting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a Deacon of Corbin City Baptist Church, teaching Wednesday morning Bible Studies, assisting with VBS, and serving the church in many capacities. George loved his garden, fishing, crabbing, and camping in Cape Hatteras, but his favorite spot was on East Pond in Maine. It was there he spent many childhood summers and continued that tradition with his family. He was known for his quick sense of humor, legendary pies, and prize-winning tomatoes. With every project, recipe, and endeavor, he was meticulous with his research and strived to improve. He loved teaching others and sharing rewards. George will be deeply missed by his wife of 20 years, Dorothy, and by his children, Debbie, John, Katie, George, and Matt, and their respective spouses. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and by his sister, Judi, and her husband. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Ruth (Miller) Zorn and his brother Robert. Elvis Antonio Drummond was born on October 27, 1957 to the late Mary Drummond and Eugene Davis. He departed this life on November 21, 2023 in Millville, New Jersey. Elvis, affectionately known as "Bonie," received his education in the Accomack County Public School System. In 1976, he enlisted into the U. S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1977. Elvis moved to Vineland, New Jersey in 2007. There, he was united in holy matrimony to Agatha Giddens Drummond. He worked as a truck driver for many years until retiring in 2019. Charles Blose, 95, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Born in Yeadon, PA, Charles was the son of the late Charles F. and Gertrude Brierly Blose. He joined the United States Navy during World War II and was stationed in Hawaii. He attended and graduated from Drexel University with a BA degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, he became employed with Atlantic City Electric Company and retired after 42 years of service. That is when he moved his family to Millville, NJ. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan (Kennedy) Blose of 62 years and his brother, John. He is survived by his children, Steven C. Blose and his wife, Janet, Karen O'Brien, and Daniel Blose, his 8 grandchildren; Kristi Blose Cieslak, Gregory, Jaime, Kathlyn, Carly, Alyssa, Lindsay and Jenna, Daniel and Josh. He also has 14 great grandchildren. Charles was active in the First United Methodist Church of Millville and also the Mormon religion. He was in the Kiwanis Club for many years, the Wise men's Club of the YMCA and a Boy Scout Leader for many years. He and his wife, Joan, enjoyed many good times together and loved going out to eat and attending Dinner shows in Lancaster, PA. Nelson Charles Fox, Jr. , best known as "the American Badass," passed away on November 13, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. Nelson was born in Millville, NJ, to Nelson Charles Fox, Sr. , and Annlee Brokell-Fox. Nelson was 62 years old and was a longtime Millville resident. Nelson was a member of Millville Rescue Squad in the late 1970's and was a Millville High School graduate, class of 1979. He worked as head maintenance man at Holly Bush Gardens in Glassboro for 20 years and maintenance man at Oakview Apartments for 10 years. Most recently, he worked at Verna's Flightline Restaurant as maintenance man and dishwasher. Nelson enjoyed motocross racing, shooting pool, and never missed a Philadelphia Eagles game. He could be found all around town riding his bike. Nelson was a funny, loving, caring person that would help anyone that would ask. You could always count on Nelson to make you laugh with jokes, dances, and pranks. He was predeceased by his longtime companion, Melinda Berry, father, Nelson Fox, Sr. , and mother, Annlee Brokell-Fox. Nelson is survived by his brothers, Edward (Sherri) Campbell and Lloyd (Nancy) Young; loving sister, Verna (William) Herman; his niece who was like a daughter to him, Tara (Adam) Gonzalez; nieces, Ashley Raube, Rebecca (Ron) Tobolski, Linda Young, and Gevena Young; nephew, Lloyd Young; great nieces, Abigail Kunkle and RyLynn Tobolski; great nephews, Derick Davis, George Sparks IV and Tanner Gogliuzza; was known as pop-pop to Isabella Hitchner; and a daughter, Jessica (Nikki) Johnston; and grandson, Trevor Stanton, and his daughter Skylar. On November 11, 2023, Glenna Bachman gained her wings at the age of 91. Born on February 5, 1932, in Coalwood, West Virginia, she passed away surrounded by family members in Camden, New Jersey. Glenna was affectionately known by many names. Whether you called her Mom, Sparky, Aunt Gly, or Gran, she held a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. Glenna will be remembered for her quick wit, Southern tenacity, and, above all, her warmth and compassion. She enjoyed walks on the beach, gardening, reading, doing puzzles, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Dallas Cowboys. Throughout her life, she defied convention as an Appalachian woman, becoming a trailblazer who faced adversity with remarkable strength and fortitude. Her toughness was matched only by her faith in the Lord and deep devotion to her family, which brought her true joy and fulfillment in life. Concepcion Nemita Lozada Hull, 79, of Millville, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 30, 2023, at her home in Millville. Born in Philadelphia, PA to her parents, the late Emilio Lozada, Sr. and Lillian Lozada on January 22, 1944. She was the wife of James Oliver Hull. Nemita has been a resident of Millville for the past 32 years and prior to that Philadelphia and California. She had been employed with various jobs. She worked at Trump Plaza Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, where she was a pit clerk with background checks, and a blackjack dealer and gaming license. Concepcion was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was a Deaconess and sang on the Mass Choir. She enjoyed studying the Word of God, and she studied at Langhorn University, CUTS for Center of Theological Studies, and Geneva Biblical University, where she earned a Bachelors Degree. She believed in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Nemita and James enjoyed studying the Word and committed themselves to helping others by opening their home and helping, not in word only, but with their actions. She lived what Jesus said, "Go ye therefore", by opening their hands to the poor. They trusted the Lord with "all" their hearts, leaning on the Lord when they were weak. God showed Himself strong. Concepcion enjoyed family and spending time with her husband, James and her children and grandchildren. They have twenty-seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed dogs and horses. She is survived by her husband, James Hull of Millville, NJ; six step children, James Hopewell of Vineland, NJ, Tyhessia Jordan of Atlantic City, NJ, Denise Thomas of Millville, NJ, Kimora Hull of Richmond, VA, Arshina Hull of Bridgeton, NJ, and Tenell Andrews Hull of Millville, NJ. She was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Nakema Smith of Las Vegas, NV NV and and Drouner, brother, Anthony (Tony) Lozada of Houston, TX James says, "It has been a joy to be married to to such a beautiful woman of God who loved God and me with all of her heart. Samuel Clifton Moseley, Jr. , son of Samuel Clifton Moseley Sr and Dorothy Moseley, nee Covington, was born on November 1, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He departed from this life and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at his home, located in Millville, New Jersey, after a lengthy illness. Born during World War II, Clif grew up on 56th Street in West Philadelphia where he attended Overbrook High School. In his teens he took care of his father and helped take care of his nieces, Michele and Mignon, while his sister Carolyn worked. This was when he became the great caregiver, we have always known him to be. Despite having to grow up early, Clif still had the foresight for a better life and avoided the negative influences of the Philly streets. He joined the military and spent four years in the Army where he learned to speak German and Dutch. He later went back to school and received his General Education Development Certificate from Standard Evening High School in June 1964. After accomplishing his high school level education, Clif enrolled and attended Saint Joseph's University. During his collegiate duration, he worked multiple jobs to make ends meet. He worked as a custodian and security guard at the Art Museum and later joined the US Post Office. During his married years, he worked as a budget analyst for Allied Corporation and later served as a supervisor until retirement in 2005. After retirement Clif volunteered for the Veteran's Administration and served as a caregiver for his mother-in-law, Helen. Clif was extremely adventurous and loved hunting, fishing, horseback riding and traveling. He thrived in social settings and went out of his way to talk to everyone. Clif was also a wonderful husband, great father, teacher and protector. In 1965, Clif met Sharron Lee and the two were married in 1967. They lived in the Overbrook area of West Philadelphia where they had their daughter. In 1974 they moved to Blackwood, NJ where they had their son. Those passions Clif enjoyed in life he shared with his family. He taught his son how to fish, created constructive activities for his daughter, gave life lessons from experience and planned family vacations. Clif and Sharron were also the perfect couple, attached at the hip. They could finish each other's sentences, and in their later years, traveled around the country sightseeing, relaxing and partying. Sharron was his life partner for over 56 years. Clif leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his; Wife, Sharron Moseley; daughter and son, Rhonda Moseley and Samuel (Cliff) Moseley Ill; two grandsons, Cayden (CJ) Moseley and Mason Moseley; two sisters-in-law, Mkiwa Carter and Denise Johnson; niece, Michele Cuyjet; five grandnieces, Marney Stauffer, Monica Smith, Aimee Armstrong, Mignonne (Carlin) Brown and Jennifer Treherne; grandnephew, Justin Dorsey; three brothers-in-law, Eric Johnson, Marvin Askins and Stephen Carter; as well as an abundance of loving cousins, other family members and friends. A service will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ at 11 am with visitation from 10-11 am. He departed peacefully, surrounded by his family, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished memories that will forever endure in our hearts. Joseph was born on January 17, 1945, in Eccles, West Virginia. He lived out most of his life in Millville, NJ, and was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering support for his family. Joseph was a loving husband and a devoted father. He was a believer saved by the grace of God. He spent many of his years trusting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. As a husband, father, and grandfather, Joseph was not only a great provider but also a mentor who guided us through life's challenges. His wisdom and kind-hearted nature were the source of comfort through the ups and downs of life. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Joann (Suttle); and his 2 children: Terri (Dan) and Cassandra (Tom). He is also forever cherished and remembered by his six grandchildren, Katie, Joey, Allie, Devon, Julia, and Cayden, and his two great-grandchildren, Billy and Lina. These loved ones adored their "Grampy" and will forever be inspired by his love and wisdom. He was born April 25, 1973 in Somers Point, New Jersey to Dorothy Louise Pannell and Joseph Ricardo Watson. Joe graduated from Egg Harbor Township High School. He was employed as a truck driver with Atlantic Exposition Service in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Prior to working with Atlantic Expo, Mr. Pannell was employed by the Traa Family McDonald's. Joseph is predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Louise Pannell and Joseph Ricardo Watson. He is survived by: his sons, Malik and Joseph Ricardo Pannell, Jr. ; daughter, Nadia Grace; grandchildren, Mikal, Malik, Mason, Jibreel and Nasiyah, Anjelina Hafner, MJ, Leah and Meah McKoy; sisters, Cherie, Christina, Clara, Monica, Sha'heeda, Akeema, Jennie; brothers, Shaheed, Ray and Johnny; and a host of other family and friends. Joseph was loved by many. He will always be remembered for his free spirit.
