George Schaffner, 90, of Dean, Texas, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta, Texas burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta. George was born on February 6, 1932 in Byers, Texas to Rudolf and Rosie (Goettman) Schaffner. George graduated from Byers High School and served in the U. S. Army in Korea. He married Patricia Ann Parker on November 12, 1955 in Wichita Falls, TX, was a member of the Dean Baptist Church and was a Farmer. George was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brother, Fred Schaffner and sister, Dorothy Morris. Survivors include his two sons, Randy Schaffner and wife Vicky of Tyler, TX and Mark Schaffner and wife Beth of Temple, TX; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; one sister, Anna Furhman of Fort Worth, TX.
