George Salsa Jr Obituary

George Anthony Salsa, Jr. , 75, of Gustine, California died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Monday, May 1, 2023. George was born on August 28, 1947 in Gustine, CA to Mary and George Salsa. He graduated from Gustine High School and attended California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo. After college, George returned to Gustine and devoted his life to the dairy industry. After retirement, he really enjoyed working with his CDQAP colleagues and all of the dairymen throughout the state of California. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle and he was a friend to everyone he met. He loved spending time with his family, attending Spring Training in Scottsdale, collecting dairy, farm, and sports memorabilia, and watching old westerns. George is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol Goman Salsa, his sister Mary Ann McGroarty (Craig) and his four children; George Salsa (Shannon), Susan Salsa, Michael Salsa (Tiffany), and Albert Salsa (Krisiey). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren Nathan Toomey, Delaney Toomey, Carra Ford, Alexandria Salsa, Carina Ford, Michael Salsa, Kalista Salsa, and Angelina Salsa. George was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and George Salsa, and his brother, Frank Salsa.
