Obituary of George Heotis George A. Heotis, 68, of Muscatine, passed away on February 11, 2019, at Trinity Hospital-Muscatine. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jesus Mission. Following the celebration, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Pearl City Outreach. George Agamemnon Heotis was born on October 6, 1950 and grew up on the Drumm Farm in Independence, Missouri. George proudly served his country in the United Stated Army during Vietnam and enjoyed music, being by the river, traveling, watching football, his dogs and spending time with grandchildren. George will be deeply missed by his lifelong companion Linda Jane Wright of Muscatine; daughter, Michelle (Randy) Horrillo of Pensacola, Florida; grandson, Cooper Horrillo; granddaughter Adaline Horrillo; sisters, Mary Dubic of Missouri and brother, Joe Heotis of Missouri. George was preceded in death by his parents.
