Genovevo "Geno" Garza, 66, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born on September 2, 1952 to Guadalupe and Pearl G. (Gomez) Garza of Napoleon. On February 27, 1970 he married the love of his life, Dianna Sanchez, who survives. Geno worked as a Trackman for Conrail for many years. He also worked for Campbell Soup Company. He was a faithful member of St. Augustine Catholic Church of Napoleon. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also liked to travel and often looked forward to going up north. The one thing he loved the most was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Geno is survived by his devoted wife, Dianna Garza; loving children, Yvonne (Jeff) Oehler, Lisa (Jose) Torres, Joanna (Christopher) Davis; grandchildren, Jason, Tyler, Matthew Oehler, Mercedes, Benicio, Antonio Torres and Alijah, Aaliyah Davis. He is also survived by his siblings, Wally (Hope) Ramierz, Art (Margaret) Garza, Delores Torres and Tomas Garza. He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Pearl G. (Gomez) Garza, brother, George G. Garza and brother-in-law, Lupe Torres. Visitation for Geno will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Walker-Hoening Mortuary (333 W. Main St.) from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11am at St. Augustine Catholic Church (210 E. Clinton St.) of Napoleon.
