Andrew Kapusta, 79, formerly of Southport, NC, passed away on February 4, 2024, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries. Born October 17, 1944, in Delmont, PA, he was the son of Andrew Kapusta, Sr. and Eleanor Pioveson Kapusta. Andy worked as a Project Engineer throughout his life in the iron and steel industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time at his house at the beach. Surviving are his children, Kirk (Cheryl) Kapusta of Olmsted Falls, OH, Keith Kapusta of Aspinwall, Kimberly (Zebulan) Sasse of Cabot and Kelley Wylie of Aiken, SC, two brothers, Barry (Carol) Kapusta of Greensburg and Allan Kapusta of Homer City, PA, four grandchildren, Katelyn Kapusta, AJ Kapusta, Tyler Sasse and Chase Sasse. Blase Brenenborg, 61 of Saxonburg passed away on January 29, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born January 31, 1962 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Robert A. Brenenborg and Esther Fries Brenenborg. Blase drove tri-axle dump and also worked as a machinist at Spreng Machine. Blase enjoyed golf but mostly enjoyed being home with his wife and animals. Blase was a beloved husband, brother, friend and confidant to many. He will be deeply missed. Surviving is his loving wife, Robin Brenenborg, who he married May 9, 1987, his siblings, Donald (Joyce) Brenenborg, Bonnie (Scott) Swaney, Faye (Lawrence) Riley, and Claire (Stephen) Tuzikow, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved cats, Mango, Daniel, Beefer, and Blossom. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister in law, Robert and Joann Brenenborg, and his beloved yellow labs, Daisy and Daphny. Martha Jane Parison, 89 of Sarver passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Magnolia Place of Saxonburg. She was born October 1, 1934 in Allison Park, PA, a daughter of the late Christopher Clair Byrne and Martha Auld Byrne. She was a 1953 graduate of Hampton High School. Jane was a member of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Joseph Worship Site, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed baking, canning, cooking, gardening, watching Pittsburgh sports and spending time with her family. Surviving are her loving husband of 67 years, John Parison, Jr., her children, John C. (Veronica) Parison of Natrona Heights, Ronald J. (Brenda) Parison of Sarver, Barbara J. Bastian of Saxonburg, Sandra A. (Don) Selman of Carthage, TX, Janet L. (Raymond) Mentel of Saxonburg, and Edward T. (Robyn) Parison of Sarver, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Wanda Jean Acre, 87, of Saxonburg passed away on January 12, 2024. Born August 22, 1936 in Butler, she was the daughter of Howard Christy Robb and Alice Elizabeth Michael Robb Wanda had worked as a Registered Nurse for Allegheny Valley Hospital retiring in 1996 after 30 years. She was a member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Sarver, The Bonnets and Bifocals of The Red Hat Society, ladies card clubs and craft class. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, needlework, travel and going to lunch with her friends. She was a very proud of the number of blankets she made for the Linus Foundation. Surviving are her daughter, Christine (Lewis) Machen of New Kensington, four sons, Wesley (Lisa) Acre of Saxonburg, Raymond Acre of Anchorage, AK, Darryl (Beth) Acre of Tarentum, Keith (Marsha) Acre of Butler, her sister, Elizabeth Ann (Robb) Bittinger, of Baden, two wonderful nieces, Chery (Bittinger) Belli of New Kensington and Beverly (Bittinger) Cobern of Baden, PA, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. Wanda K. (Kay) Welsh, 86, of Natrona Heights, died Saturday, January 6, 2024 at The Seasons of Saxonburg after a prolonged illness with dementia.She was born July 28, 1937, in Tarentum, PA to the late Albert L. Cooper and Wanda M. (Mozena) Cooper. Kay grew up in Natrona Heights, graduating from Har-Brack High in 1955. After high school she attended business school and worked as a secretary for the publisher Eugene Simon of the Valley Daily News Dispatch. She was later employed at Fire Pro Services and the office of Dr. Nathaniel Landerman. Kay loved tending to her flower gardens, line dancing, playing cards, and crocheting. She also loved traveling to Texas with her husband each year during the winter, getting her hair done, shopping, and spending time with her family.Survivors include her son, Richard A. Welsh, of Lower Burrell, a daughter Lori Kay (John) Welsh-Nury of Natrona Heights, four grandchildren, Shane R. (Claire) Welsh, Trevor E. (Haley) Welsh, Derrek Koblinsky, and Kevin Koblinsky, and a great grandson, Trevor (TJ) Jr. Welsh. In addition to her parents, and her beloved husband of 53 years, Richard J. Born August 25, 1947 in Kittanning, she was the daughter of the late Robert Blondeaux and Mary Jane Curran Blondeaux. Reggie was a 1966 graduate of Ford City High School. She worked at various places in Butler and retired as a sales supervisor for D & K in Kittanning. Surviving are her grandsons, Justin Herrington of Utah and Garrett Herrington of Clarion, great grandson, Justin Herrington, Jr. of South Carolina, her sister, Gerri Payne of Valencia, and nieces and nephew, Gigi Bonner and Amy Beth Mundy of Ford City, Krystal Goodhart of Arnold and Robert Blondeaux of Sigel, and several great nieces and nephews. A daughter of the late Joseph Clark and Mary (Jacinak) Clark, she was born May 29, 1924 in East Vandergrift, PA. Elizabeth was a homemaker and member of Christ The King Church in Gilpin Township. She enjoyed reading, shopping, baking, and especially spending time with her family. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Halgas (Gerald J. ) of Gilpin Township, Cynthia Dotto (Kenneth M. ) of Delaware; three grandchildren, Stacy Stull (Jeff), Robert Halgas (Sarah), Stephen Dotto (Michele); and three great-grandchildren, Brandon Stull, Olivia Dotto and Quin Dotto. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milio F. Bruce R. Wiegand slipped into the arms of our heavenly father on Tuesday December 12th 2023. Born August 31, 1951 in Butler PA. He was a Member of Cabot Zion Methodist Church. Bruce graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a degree in Psychology. Bruce had a very successful career as a fraud investigator at PNB/PNC Bank for 48 years. While working at the bank he met the love of his life Barb, and they married in 1992. They relied on each other for everything and that did not change through the years. Barb has cared for Bruce and been at his bedside thought out this terrible disease. Bruce had a warm and loving spirit and all that knew him loved him. He loved his cars and took special pride in a 1968 Roadrunner he bought as his first car. He also enjoyed owning a beautiful Mustang over the years. Bruce is preceded in death and reunited with his parents Lavada & Albert. He is survived by his loving wife, Barb, his brother that he was very close to Dean, his wife Judy, his niece Jessica Wiegand Troutman of NC & nephew Jordan Wiegand of Chesapeake VA. as well as many other nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors that loved and cared for him deeply. Ritzert, and his wife, Patricia, of Chicora; a daughter, Kathleen M. Ritzert (Kim Litton) of Cranberry Twp. ; two grandsons, Chase Ritzert and his wife, Shauna, and Ryan Ritzert and his wife, Chrissy, all of Chicora; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Jake, Chaz, Chase, Laci, Cade, and Blaze; a great great grandson, Huxson; a brother, David Hutchison and his wife, Carol Lou, of Chicora; a sister, Patricia Stingle of Chicago, IL; a sister-in-law, Linda Hutchison, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
