Gene Loy Obituary

Gene Loy, 84, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Monday, April 24, 2023, at 10:37 A. M. at Hosparus Care Center in Louisville. He was born May 19, 1938, in Adair County, to the late Holland and Nina Wilson Loy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby W. Loy and Harry Loy and three sisters-in-law, Julia Loy, Odean Loy and Joan Loy. Gene professed his faith in Christ, was a U. S. Army Veteran and a retired factory worker. Survivors include: One brother - Marshall Loy of Columbia One sister-in-law - Nancy Loy of Columbia Nieces and Nephews - Janet Parrish, Cheryl Corbin (Barry), Carolyn Hale (Anthony), Steven Loy (Molly), Angela Cook (Bryan) and Michael Loy (Robin) 13 great-nieces and great-nephews, six great-great nieces and nephews and expecting the seventh great-great nephew The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 10:30 A. M. until 11:30 A. M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with a Graveside service to follow at Haven Hill Cemetery.
