Price, 70, of Florence who transitioned on Sunday, February 25, 2024. "For I am ready to be offered, for my departure is at hand, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7"Softly and tenderly Jesus has called, again, a human spirit has taken flight at the call of our Heavenly Father to the mission prepared for her. May all of us remember the way that she touched our lives and be joyous.On the 25th of February the angel of death came to carry Saundra away.Saundra Yvonne Pauley-Price, daughter of the late Evelyn "Dean" Marcus and John Pauley Jr., was born on February 15, 1954. She was educated in the Darlington County Public Schools, a graduate of the Spaulding High School class of 1972. She received her B.A. Degree in Intermediate Education from Saint Augustine's College of Raleigh, North Carolina and her Masters of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Lehman College in the Bronx, New York. She taught for seventeen years in the private and public schools of New York. After relocating back to South Carolina in 1993, she taught for 23 years in the Darlington County Schools.At an early age she joined John Welsey United Methodist were she served in various positions at John Welsey such as Trustee, Administrative Board secretary, Church secretary, and PPRC chairperson until her death.In addition to her parents, Saundra was preceded in death by her brother, Troy Pauley, sister, Shirley Lucas, cousins, Carolyn Evans-Lawson and Barbara Lawyer, Brindle Segars, nephews, Tavon L. Pauley and Trevor L. Pauley.Saundra leaves to cherish her memory a beloved husband, Gerald Price, four children, Sonya Shuler, Gerard (Tanya) Price, Kisha (Thomas) Wilson, Aaron (Jamelia) Price, aunt, Eliza Pauley Rivers: uncle. Eddie Pauley: special cousins she was raised with, Stenson(Emma) Lawyer, Birkett (Rudell) Segars, Vincent Dunlap, Bridgette German, Kimberlyn (Frankie) Jackson; special nephews, Anthony Lucas, Tamar L. Funeral services will be at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Tuesday March 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens, Florence. William “Bill” Dayton Glover, 56, of Florence, SC went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was the loving son of Patricia Seawell Adkins Glover and the late Dayton Ronald Glover. He was born in Richmond, VA and was a service manager for Mosely Outdoor Power and Equipment. Bill brought a smile to everyone that he met, enjoyed joking around and making others laugh, and was the light in everybody’s life. Bill liked fishing, Nascar races, grilling out, playing the piano, drums, and guitar, and having a good time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all. Surviving are his mother, Pat; his loving companion of 23 years, Tonnie Schamburek; daughters, Alyssa Glover (Tyler Timmerman) of Dawsonville, GA, Brittany Schamburek of Hartsville, SC, and Emerald Schamburek of Florence; grandsons, Zayden Lee Timmerman and Leeland Curry; sister, Marcia (John) Hutto of Florence; nephews, Lee (Ellen) Barton, II of Charleston, SC and Dayton (Mallory) Barton of San Antonio, TX; great nieces and nephews, Olivia, Nicholas and Adalynn; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his four legged friend, Ellie. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Christ Point Church, 800 King Avenue, Florence, SC at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Emily Rae Gordon, 82, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at home with her family and her loving husband of 42 years, Clair Livingston Gordon, by her side. Rae was born and raised in Darlington, SC. She was the daughter of the late Ivey and Ina Lee Clifton. She worked at Nytronics and went on to work at ESAB where she retired after 32 years. Rae and Clair enjoyed a successful catering business for many years. She was a very active member of Greenwood Baptist Church where she served and worshiped for more than 20 years and was chosen as servant of the year in 2010. She loved her church, her pastor, and her church family tremendously. Rae loved to laugh, play cards, bowl, shagging with Clair, and never turned down a road trip. Her biggest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and being called “grannie” by all. She will be sorely missed by us all. Surviving in addition to her husband, are her children, Debbie (Robin) Lewis, Donna Langley-Yarborough; step-children, Carol Franklin, Debbie G. Lewis, Sharon (Sammy) Martin, Kenny (Suzanne) Gordon, and Robert Gordon; grandchildren, Sloan (Jonathan) Campbell, Alex (Gideon) Akinsola, Leslie (James) Austin, Jeff (Marie) Martin, Brittany (Trippe) Harrington, Justin (Julieta) Lewis, Zac Langley-Yarborough, Gracen Gordon, and Sydney Gordon. She and Clair shared 14 great-grandchildren. Rae is also survived by her sisters, Patsy (Jim) Outlaw and Audrey (Toye) Stewart along with many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Greenwood Baptist Church with a memorial service to be held at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, her wishes were that contributions be made to Greenwood Baptist Church, 2401 Claussen Road, Florence, SC 29505.

JoAnn Gannon Talbott, 78, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Ms. Talbott was born in Charleston, WV, the daughter of the late Joesph Raymond Gannon and Wanda Mace Gannon. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Ms. Talbott received a double major and the title Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee. She was a long-time distinguished realtor in Florence. She was the First Female Realtor Emeritus in SC, and she served on the State Board of Realtors. Her engaging personality touched all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Gannon. Surviving is her son, Joe Talbott; daughter, Cristi DeWitt; grandchildren, Megan Talbott, Brittany Talbott, and Jackson Talbott; and sister, Jennie Gannon Gerace of Johnson City, TN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 4, 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church 2536 Hoffmeyer Rd. Entombment will follow at Mt.
