Gavin Tran Obituary

Gavin Khiem Tran, age 19, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023. He was born September 8, 2003 in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Diana Barbier Tran. Gavin was a strong young man who has just received his real estate license and was looking forward to working in the real estate field. He was close to his family and friends and had an amazing spirit. He was fondly called lil "G" when he was little and as he grew up he became just G by his family and friends. He is survived by his father, James Tran; Mother, Diana Barbier-Tran; brother, Aidan Tran; paternal grandma, Hong Tran; maternal grandparents, Richard and Brenda Barbier. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Nhoung Tran. Pallbearers will be David Nguyen, Ethan Ma, Nathan Nguyen, Jacob Tran, Austin Tran, Jake Ma, Jack Nguyen, and Dylan Dao.
