Gaston Goulet Obituary

CLINTON: Gaston Joseph Goulet, 83, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Leominster Hospital, surrounded by his devoted family. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Aline A. (Fleurant) Goulet; 4 children, Michelle A. Goulet & husband Andrew Labovitch of Ridley Park, PA, Linda F. Falzone & husband John of Clinton, Alain G. Goulet & life partner Christine Dynan of Lancaster, and Nicole J. Kulis & husband Eric of Clinton; 7 siblings Julia Audet, Raymond Goulet, Fernand Goulet, Maurice Goulet, Claudette Levesque, Janine Larochelle, and Denise Roy; and 7 grandchildren, Justin, Angelica, Josette, Maila, Jonah, Elizabeth, and Rowen; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Theresa Goulet, Marcel Goulet, and Nicole Goulet. Gaston was born in St. Prosper De Beauce, Quebec, Canada, son of the late Donat and Bernadette (Bechand) Goulet. He immigrated to the United States in 1961, settling in Clinton. He was a machinist and master carpenter, proud member of Carpenters Local 475 and worked for several companies. Growing up on a farm in Canada, established in Gaston a very strong work ethic and a love for gardening and animals. He loved carpentry and spent countless hours in maintaining his home and rental property. He enjoyed traveling and listening to country music and even played the guitar and violin. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and wrestling. Gaston was a man of strong Catholic faith with love for his family, especially his grandchildren. Calling hours will be held from 5 until 7PM on Thursday, April 27, 2023 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water Street, Clinton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Friday April 28, 2023 in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St. , Clinton, with burial in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster.
