Gary Lee Williams was born February 20, 1941, to Noah and Lois (Salstrom) Williams in Watonga, OK. He passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 81. Gary grew up in the Watonga area. He graduated from Watonga High School. He began his farming career after a stint of service in the U. S. Army National Guard. Gary married Dixie DeBaun on February 27, 1971 in Watonga. The couple continued to live in that community until the mid 1990s when they relocated to their home west of Geary. Gary was a member of the Christian Church in Watonga. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Gary is survived by his wife Dixie of the home, one daughter, LaDonna Williams and husband Rodney of Hinton, OK, and one son, Steve Edwards of Kentucky, 6 grandchildren, Jennie Weaver and husband Randy of Corn, OK, and Pennie Daugherty and husband Robert of Watonga, OK, Rocky Gardner, Joshua Gardner and wife Ashley, Rodney Dale Williams, Jr. and Felicia Veogeli and husband Justin, 15 great-grandchildren, Sarah Weaver, Kristen Weaver, Zach Weaver, Caleb Weaver, Hannah Weaver, Andrea Craig, Jaycie Daugherty, Rocky Gardner, Max Gardner, Bryce Gardner, Mickey Gardner, Sophie Gardner, Emily Carl, Emmitt Voegeli and Felix Voegeli, and one more on the way, one great-great grandchild, Aliyah Flaming as well as a host of other family and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Noah and Lois Williams, 2 children, Georgie Lasiter and Harvey Edwards, grandson, Cody Lasiter, great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Weaver and 2 siblings, Patricia Jordan and Jack Ethington.
