"Lillie Hines passed away on October 17th, 2023. She was born to parents Amon Jernigan and Ida Balsiger on October 20th, 1925, in Navina, Oklahoma. On February 14th, 1945, she married Clyde Urton in Douglas Arizona. Together they had three children: Clyde, Linda, and Robert. Unfortunately, Clyde passed away in 1971. Lillie eventually found love again and married Roy Hines in June of 1979. A real life "Rosie the Riveter", during World War II Lillie worked at R. M. R. Corp Army and Navy Production Plant in Madison as an inspector of Walkie Talkie Radio for the government to send overseas. Afterwards she was a bookkeeper at Kelso's Department store for 15 years and then became the Deputy Treasurer for the Canadian County Court House where she worked for 12 years. Aside from work, Lillie was involved in many organizations, such as Faith Sunday School, Saints Alive, Narve R. R. , and El Reno Study Club. She was also a member of First Christian in El Reno as well as First Baptist Church in El Reno. Lillie was proceeded in death by her parents Amon and Ida; both of her husbands Clyde Urton and Roy Hines; sister Elizabeth Upton and husband James; children Linda Thrasher (Urton) and Robert Urton; and great grandsons Zaniel Devaughan and Noah Thrasher. Surviving Lillie is her son Clyde Urton and wife Connie; grandchildren Colynda Morgan and husband John of Yukon, Oklahoma, Christina Wilbers and husband David of Russellville, Arkansas, Clarissa Devaughan and husband Steve of Binger, Oklahoma, Adam Thrasher and wife Stephanie of Smyrna, Tennessee, and David Romine and wife Maykala of Yukon, Oklahoma; great grandchildren Isaac, Ian, Brody, Teagon, Jacob, Capulin, and Cyrus Devaughan (with Easton coming in November) of Binger, Oklahoma, Bailey and Brett Wilbers of Russellville, Arkansas, Ethan, Haylee, and Curtis Romine of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Savannah and Nolan Thrasher of Smyrna, Tennessee; sister-in-law LaDwana Urton and family of Yukon, Oklahoma; son-in-law Ted Thrasher of Florida; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Viewing and Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 22nd from 1:00 p. m. -6:00 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, October 23 at 11:00 a. m. at First Baptist Church (541 Mercy Drive, El Reno, OK 73036) with burial to follow at the El Reno Cemetery.
