Gary James Sikorski 68 passed away on April 20, 2019 at his home in Indianapolis after a long battle with cancer. Gary was born in St. Louis, Missouri October 4, 1950 to Benedict and Mae Billie Sikorski. Gary is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nina-Jo Sikorski. His children Tony Sikorski, Tonya and Dennis Courtois, Dina and Joe Kohout, Stephanie Grayson, Sarah Sikorski, Ayomide Sikorski and Dillon Sikorski. Siblings Greg and Karen Sikorski, James Hicks, Dixie Shipley, Walter and Wendy Hicks, Melodie and James Reed. Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and many others whose lives he touched. Gary spent many years as Operations Manager in both manufacturing and transportation. He loved sports of any kind and his favorite team was those his children and grandchildren played on. Gary loved to travel and especially loved vacations by the beach. He was a member of Southport Presbyterian Church. A Celebration of Life will be at Southport Presbyterian Church, 7525 McFarland Blvd Indianapolis, IN 46237 on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM with a reception immediately following. Flowers will be accepted at church prior to the services, however, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southport Presbyterian Church or The American Cancer Society.
