Believe it or not she made washing dishes fun, this was usually after Sunday dinner of fried chicken and chocolate pie. After Mr. Partain passed away, so she would not have to rely on others for transportation at age of about 70 took the driver's test and got her license. She purchased her first car. Later she enrolled in adult education class, studied, took the test, and her document says ``high school'' diploma. At the end of her life she was a hospice patient with aides and others visiting.
