GARY CARTWRIGHT II. OBITUARY On the morning of April 18th Little Gary (who is not so little), a loving father, son, brother, uncle and one of the most loyal friends one could ever ask for, was tragically taken from us in a car accident. Gary lived his life on the edge and to the fullest. Always fighting harder and loving stronger than anyone you know. He leaves behind his greatest treasures, his daughter Genaveive and his son Ashton. He was truly a proud father, and loved his children more than anything. From an early age Little Gary had a big heart and special love for animals and the outdoors, this he got from his mother. From chicken whispering to pot bellied pig rescuing his sensitive soul was felt by all. At one point he came home with two ducklings. He hand raised them, mostly in the house, until they were fully grown. At which point the "mess" became too much to handle. So he decided it was best for them to go to Heather Farms Park. For many months after he would go to visit. They would hear his call and come flying over to him. People would look and stare with disbelief. The bond they had was unforgettable. That is what Little Gary did to all who were lucky enough to know him. His gentle heart and compassion was undeniable. He also loved music and was able to play by ear from a very young age, that he got from his father. He was an artist, a whittler of wood, a handyman, an outdoorsman, an adventure seeker, (sometimes too adventurous), a giver but most of all a survivor. His life had many trials and tribulations. In each of them, at different stages of his life he would push through and fight every step of the way. He wore his hardships like armor. Gary had the heart of an angel, and was as honorable as they come. He never gave up, and was one of the hardest workers you've ever seen. He was never afraid to get his hands dirty. In his last days he was working hard with his brother, spending time with his children, and loving the moments spent with his family and friends. He could always be found in a quiet corner holding his baby niece taking it all in. His desire to make his family proud proceeded all, and he did just that. We love you Gary and will never forget your smile that would light up any room. Dad- We are so proud of you and how much you worked to be the best dad you could for us. Also for teaching us to live life to the fullest without fear. . . We love you so much dad. Brother- We are all so grateful for the life we spent together, the laughs, the tears, and every little moment in between. Little brother or not you were always looking out for us, and we know you will continue to do so from heaven above. Love you more than words brother. . .
