Gary Wayne "Doc" Aime Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Gary "Doc" Wayne Aime, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at the age of 76. He was a native and resident of Head of Island, LA. Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Gary was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed squirrel and duck hunting, cooking Cajun delicacies whether it be for a big event or for his family at home in his shop, and spending time on the water either fishing or at his camp on Blind River. His camp was his most prized possession in which he built from the ground up for his family to enjoy for years to come. Gary retired from CF industries in where he served as a millwright for years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Junius P. and Muriel Vicknair Aime; brother, Jimmy W. Aime, Sr. , Joe P. Aime, and brother-in-law, Perry Watts. He is survived by his wife, Anna Lenko Aime; 3 daughters, Tammie (Mervin) McCon, Tracy (Rhett) Cornett, Tara Aime; grandchildren, Trina (Blake) Keller, Corey McCon, Jordon (Lindsey) Cornett, Jaci Cornett, Justin Cornett, Lindsey Roddy and Savannah Roddy; great grandchildren, Easton, Evan and Emmy Keller; sisters, Dian (Richard) Simoneaux, Patty Watts; brothers, Donald (Susan) Aime, Ricky (Sherri) Aime and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family and friends of Gary are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 15710 LA-16, French Settlement, LA, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 9AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Head of Island, LA. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to medical team of Pinnacle Hospice and The Clarity House of Baton Rouge. Honorary Pallbearers include: Corey McCon, Jordon Cornett, Justin Cornett, Blake Keller, Donald Aime II, Jimmy Aime IlI.
