CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA - Garland Kennedy, 74, died Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at his home. He was born in Castlewood, Virginia; son of the late Ofearl and Thelma Bush Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Kennedy; one sister, Anna Sue Sleebos; and three brothers, Dave Kennedy, Clifford Kennedy, and James Kennedy. He is survived by one sister, Mary Leigh Wilson and husband, Charles of Paris Tennessee; four brothers, Glen Kennedy and wife, Donna of Castlewood, Virginia, Olaf Kennedy and Shirley Hall of Castlewood, Virginia, Larry Kennedy and wife, Betty of Castlewood, Virginia, Wally Kennedy and wife, Debbie of Castlewood, Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services and Interment for Garland Kennedy will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Lanny Powers officiating.
