He later quit his plant job at Quaker State Oil Refinery to open his business known as "King Ridge Auto Parts" back in the 1970's. He then decided to go bigger & own and operate a Big Truck Lot Equipment Business known as "Eagle Equipment Company" on Rt. 16, then later on moved the business to Willow Island where he ran it for 40 years with his wife Jeannie and alongside his son in law Kenny Westbrook. He loved going to the Truck & Equipment Auctions with friends to find a good deal! Buying selling and trading Trucks & Equipment was his "passion"! He had the "gift" of trade that you couldn't teach! He developed the property on Old Waverly Road now known as "Sand Castle Campgrounds"! He did a lot of different work like that. But the one thing he loved and missed doing as he got older was cutting Timber! He cut several tracts of Timber in his lifetime. He loved running his Timberjack Skidders and his chainsaws! He said he would get up in the morning, cut a load of logs, then go to work, wherever that may be? He was never afraid of work. He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Giboney, November, 2000.
