Mr. Gabriel M. Miller was born on January 10, 1942 in the small town of Bowling Green, Missouri. His life was full of adventures. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and drinking coffee. His nicknames are "Gator," and "GMM". Mr. Miller has one son, who preceded him in death, Gabriel M. Hale Jr. Mr. Miller leaves to mourn, his children, Joyce Robert and her dogs, Coco, Miss Lady, and Myla, all of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Tina Juarez of Iowa; Beverly Hale and family, Marcus, DeShawnte, and Earl; great-granddaughters, Mar Keisha, Ta Neisha, Deja, Zyniah, Ellonia, all of Washington State; Curtis and April Hale and family, Curtis, Alec, Cory, Charles, Cameron; and his great-grandson, Kingston, all of Missouri. "Brenda May Gollaher, age 59, of Bowling Green, MO passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes and Crematory in Bowling Green, MO with Pastor Bill Hobbs officiating. Burial will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Brenda was born June 17, 1964, the daughter of Paul and Christina Gollaher and the late Eddie Bowler. She grew up in Frankford and attended Mark Twain Schools, where she graduated in 1983. Following graduation, she began working at area nursing homes and became a C. N. A. Brenda spent 5 years serving at Maple Grove in Louisiana before moving to Moore-Pike Nursing Home in Bowling Green, where she spent 20yrs until the facility closed May 18th, 2018. She met James Shade of Louisiana, and together they had two daughters. Brenda enjoyed following her favorite sports teams on television, the Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals. If she wasn't watching either of her teams, she could be found watching gameshows like Price Is Right, Let's Make A Deal and Wheel of Fortune. She also was a fan of soap operas, especially Days of Our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful. Brenda had a vast taste in music, listening to everything from Boston, Journey, ZZ Top to Bob Seager and gospel music. Brenda was a person a faith and enjoyed fellowship with her One Way Ministries family. She was a strong family person and never let her battle with cancer keep her from helping others over the past 5 years. Brenda is survived by her daughter Katy Zabala (Henry) of Jefferson City; grandchildren Carlos, Adrianna, Abby, Vanessa, Briana, Phillip, Lylli, AJ, Jeremy, Cristian, Alaska, and Gabriela; one great grandson coming in January; siblings Arthur L. Gollaher of New London, David Gollaher (Vickie) of Frankford, Mike Gollaher (Johanna) of Frankford, and Rose Hilburn (Clayton) of Louisiana; aunt Mildred White of Pittsfield, IL; uncle Gary Ray Gollaher of New Canton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Amanda Martinez; brothers Lonnie Gollaher and Joe Gollaher; sister Kathy Niffen; half-brother James William Bowler. Serving as pallbearers will be David Gollaher II, Tony Niffen, Monty Gollaher, Lester Gollaher, Richard House, Daniel Reeves, Jason Stanley and Justin Stanley. "Krista Grace Adam was born on October 3rd, 2007 to Paul Joseph and Mary Anthea Adam. She passed from this world to meet Jesus on May 17, 2023 at the age of 15 years, 7 months and 15 days. Krista Grace is survived by her father, Paul Joseph Adam of Eolia, her brother, Michael Joseph Adam of Eolia, Missouri, grandparents Don and Karyl Adam of Eolia, and her grandmother Mary Dawn McCravy Stewart of Mountain View, Missouri and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ronald M. and Mary L. McCravy, her mother Mary Anthea Adam and her Uncle Matt Adam. Krista Grace had many varied interests. She was extremely creative, loved a great argument, and enjoyed proving her point! Currently a ninth-grade student at Clopton High School, Krista excelled in sports, particularly the shotput. She loved softball and played with intensity. Krista also loved to swim and spent hours in the water during sweltering summer days. She was also a loyal friend to many and loved spending time with them. Krista had a tender heart and a gentle spirit. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Michael Darnell Love of Bowling Green, MO was born on June 18, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois to Earnest and Ada Love. They moved to Missouri and later settled in Wentzville where Michael graduated from Wentzville Holt High School. Michael attended Vatterott Tech where he was certified as an HVAC technician. He was employed by Lear Seating and Everest and Jennings, both located in Earth City, Mo. He was employed at GW Fiberglass, Inc located in O'Fallon, Mo as well. Michael was an avid lover of sports. He enjoyed playing basketball and during his time in California when he visited with his brother for the summer, he gained a love for skateboarding. He especially loved watching his favorite football team the DALLAS COWBOYS. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Michael attended White Rose Baptist Church in Bowling Green. His favorite bible scripture is Psalm 23. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Love, mother, Ada Mae Love, brother, William Love, and sister, Sandra Love. Angela Lucia (nee Ciotti, Grove) Greear, 67, of Bowling Green, Missouri, formerly of Kincaid, Illinois, passed away on March 25, 2023, at Parkside Manor in Bowling Green, Missouri. Angela was born on August 19, 1955, in Pekin, IL, daughter of Tullio and Mary Dorothy (Bateson) Ciotti of Kincaid. She married in 1979 and later divorced. She married Stanley Greear in 2005, who preceded her in death in 2008. She graduated Kincaid High School in 1973, graduated as an LPN from St. John's School of Nursing in 1975, and earned her Associate's Degree in Health Care Administration from Lincoln Land Community College in 2000. It was her calling in life to care for others any way she could, whether as a nurse at Taylorville Care Center until she retired in 2004, or through crafts. She loved sewing, knitting and crocheting blankets, clothes, hats, scarves, and gloves for family, friends, and anyone who needed them. She was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Kincaid and a member of the St. Rita's Altar and Rosary Sodality until she entered assisted living in 2008. During her daughter's youth, she was also a Girl Scout Troop co-leader and served on the Board of Directors of the Sangamon Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra. Most of all, she loved visiting and talking with family. Angela is survived by her brother: Martin Ciotti; daughter Sarah (Matt) Porter; nephew Tony Ciotti; granddaughters: Hope Porter and Joy Porter; great-nieces and nephews: Richard Casarez, Autumn Casarez, Camille Howard, and Forrest Howard; and several cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; niece Erin (Ciotti) Howard; nephew Ryan Ciotti; and sister-in-law Flo Ciotti. The funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 A. M. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Kincaid with Fr. Piotr Kosk officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a. m. until the time of the service, in the church on Thursday. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Masterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Kincaid is assisting the family with arrangements.Show more
