Frederick "Fred" J. Milliken, age 75, of Broomall, PA, passed away Thursday October 5th, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Born 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late George S. Milliken and Elizabeth (nèe McGlinchey). Fred and his loving wife Madelon were married for 52 years. He was a dedicated family man. He was a proud graduate of Marple Newtown High School. He obtained an Associate’s degree in accounting from Brandywine Junior College. Fred worked for Acme Markets until his retirement. He was an active member of the Acme retiree breakfast club. Fred loved to coach his children and grandchildren in baseball and basketball. He also coached CYO girls’ basketball for St. Francis of Assisi and St Pius X. Fred was an avid Philadelphia sports Phan, he especially loved his Phillies. He also enjoyed gardening and playing pinochle, but he mostly enjoyed watching his grandchildren in all their activities. Fred was the beloved husband of Madelon M. (nèe McElaney) Milliken; loving father of Aileen Thomas (Chad), Fred Milliken Jr. , Teresa Armstrong (Michael), and Patrick Milliken (Melissa); adoring Pop-Pop of Kirsten, Colin, Kayleigh, Cecilia, Avery, and Shane; caring brother of Bob Milliken (Diane), George P. Milliken (deceased) and sister-in-law Mary Ann Milliken. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, brother-in-law’s and sister-in-law’s. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday, October 10, 2023 8:30AM to 10:00AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Mary Jane Clark, age 86, of Broomall, PA, passed away on November 8, 2023, at home, after an extended illness. Raised in Cambridge MA, Mary Jane attended the University of Massachusetts, where she met and married the love of her life, Kenneth Clark. Mary Jane is survived by Ken, her husband of 65 years and their three children, Douglas Clark (Mary) of Winter Haven, FL, Sharon Behmke (Randy) of Downingtown, PA and Carolyn Longchamp (Jon) of Atkinson, NH, as well as 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Formerly of Springfield, Mary Jane was a resident of Broomall for 36 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with, and cooking dinners for her family. She enjoyed listening to classical music and show tunes, but particularly loved the opera. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and delighted in the teams' recent successes. Mary Jane was an exceptional cook and enjoyed hosting parties, making every occasion extra special with her delicious, homemade dishes. She loved to sew, especially costumes and quilts. For over 20 years, she helped to design and create costumes for the Rose Valley Chorus & Orchestra musical productions. She opened up her basement as the "Sewing Hole" so that the team of costumers could work together. She thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent with these ladies. When not working on costumes, Mary Jane made quilts. She enjoyed making quilt tops, which she sent to the My Brother's Keeper organization, who turned them into finished quilts or sleeping bags for the homeless. Visitation for friends and family, will be on November 18 at Charlotte's Restaurant, from 12:00 to 3:00.Show more

Lance Brian Brenner, 76, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023, surrounded by his loving family Lance was born on May 9, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Winfield and Lorraine (Yast) Brenner Lance met his late wife, Linda Brenner, in 1965 and they were married on January 4, 1969 He grew up in Philadelphia and moved to Delaware in 1971 Lance and Linda retired to Murrells Inlet, South Carolina in 2006 where they enjoyed the warm weather and palm trees Lance came to stay in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania in 2023 to be closer to family while fighting a courageous battle with cancer Lance was a graduate of John Bartram High school in January 1965 Lance proudly served in the United States Army from 1966-1968 He later graduated from Wilmington University with a bachelor's degree in business management in 1978 Lance had a successful banking career that began at Household Finance He then worked at MBNA (Bank of America) from 1985-2003, where he was the Vice President of Credit Quality After retiring, Lance worked for several years as the Operations Manager at Executive Home Mortgage His intelligence, dedication, and knack for problem-solving made him an invaluable asset to his team and a respected figure in the financial industry Lance will be remembered for his sharp wit, his warm heart, and his unwavering determination He was a guiding light to those who knew him, always willing to lend a hand or offer a kind word His legacy is one of love, service, and resilience In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, crabbing, watching NASCAR, listening to 60's music, watching his favorite television shows, reading, going to the beach, tinkering in the garage, working in the yard, restoring vintage cars, and spending time with his family He was a faithful blood donor and volunteered with many organizations through the years He will be truly missed by all who had the honor of getting to know him Lance is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Linda Brenner; his parents, Winfield and Lorraine Brenner; and his brother, Park Brenner Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael Brenner (Wesley Davidson) of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania; Kevin Brenner (Wendy Brenner) of Middletown, Delaware; and Stacey Richmond (Thomas Richmond) of Middletown, Delaware Lance was a proud Pop Pop to Andrew, Brandon, and Kristi Brenner, a proud Paw Paw to Colton and Abigail Richmond, and a proud Lance Pop to Caroline and Emma Davidson Also left to cherish his memory are his brother, David Brenner (Carmella Brenner), sister-in-law Joy Brenner, and several nephews and nieces Lance had a loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors Visitation with family will be held from 11:00 a m to 12:30 p m on October 9, 2023, at Logan-Videon Funeral Home in Broomall, Pennsylvania A celebration of life service will follow visitation at 12:30 p m at Logan-Videon Funeral Home All friends and family members are welcome to attend to honor Lance In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the in Lance's memoryShow more
