Franklin Delano Hale entered into rest on June 19, 2022, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home after an extended illness. Franklin was born on April 25, 1937 to the late Jessie Hale and Calie Miller. He married Hazel Parrish in June 15, 1957. Franklin served in the United States Army from 1954 until he was honorably discharged in 1964. He worked much of his adult life as a crane shovel operator and enjoyed fishing, painting, and had the green thumb of gardening. Franklin was also a member of the Assembly of God Church in Francisco, Indiana. Franklin was preceded by his parents, Jessie Hale and Calie Miller; wife; Hazel Hale; and brother, John Hale. Franklin leaves behind his five daughters, Judith Sloan (Glenn), Debra Helsley, Terry McGregor (Larry), Mary Freyer (Dan), and Susan Gray; sister Shirley; and brother Joe Hale. A lovely Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is entrusted with care.
