Obituary of Frankie Hickman-Rice Frankie was born in 1947 in Baytown, Texas, into a large loving family of 10 brothers and sisters. She grew up in Louisiana a daughter of a Nazarene Minister. As a child she taught herself and her siblings to sing and play the piano. They were well known in the church community for their singing and natural abilities, bringing joy to many, especially their parents. Frankie was the Executive Officer for the Building Contractors Association of Southwestern Idaho for 28 years. She affected change, and impacted the community through her work. Frankie formed many close relationships with individuals whom she was honored to call friends. Frankie was survived by her husband of nearly 30 years, Ray Rice, the love of her life. She will leave behind two daughters, Tiffany Bruton, husband Lind Bruton, daughter Mason Bruton. Peggy Pisani, sons A.J. & Josh Pisani. Her step-children Ray Rice Jr., wife Mandee, children Anja, Mila, Jude and Sherry Buchanan, husband Tekoah and daughter Phoenix. Ray and Frankie were often found on weekends playing golf, fishing, whitewater rafting, camping or traveling in their RV. And during football season watching their favorite college team BSU with dear friends.. She was a bright light, known for her positive influence on others and the joy she brought to friendships. Frankie lost her battle with Cancer on February 8, 2019. The loss will be felt by those that knew her, may she rest in peace.
