Jose Patlan

Aug 09, 1989 - Jan 29, 2024

location-icon

Stanton, TX

Jose Patlan 34, passed away January 29th, 2024. He was the partner of Jessica Mauricio. They shared 3 years together. Born in Weatherford Tx, he was the son of Jesus Patlan and Rosa Patlan. He attended Carter Riverside High School and graduated from Spartan College in Tulsa Oklahoma. He was employed at North Tarrant Express Mobility and worked as a lead technician on night shift. Jose enjoyed playing softball, baseball on Sundays, watching football games with his family, going on trips, and supporting his loved ones! His favorite team to support was his Oakland Raiders and the Texas Rangers. Any sports team playing he just wanted to gather everyone around to just watch the games, eat, and just have a good time! He will always be remembered as an outgoing, full of life, kind, funny, helpful, brotherly, protective, and stubborn but a heart full of gold! He was always the life of the party. He believed coming together and having a discada was the perfect way to come together! He was so proud of his discadas! Saying things like let me cook and you just go enjoy yourself with everyone! He loved food but most importantly he loved being around family and friends. Just as long as he was surrounded by family, friends, food, beer, music, and his chamoy with tajin he was good to go. He could never keep a shirt clean. You tell him you got chamoy on your shirt his response was always ehh or oh well! He was known to dance and bust out his moves. He always made sure to keep everyone on track. Especially when it came to baseball on Sundays. His phrase the day before “you going to baseball tomorrow?” He had a way to make people laugh even if they didn’t want too. He was always known for having the biggest smile on his face. He was a great listener, brother, son, father, friend and team mate! Everyone loved him! He is survived by his parents Jesus Patlan and Rosa Patlan, his brother Jorge Patlan, his sister Luz Patlan, his partner Jessica Mauricio, and his son Alexander Levi Patlan.
