Henry Peter Engo Sr. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Born on November 21, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York. Hank a beloved father, dedicated truck driver, and cherished member of the community in Long Island New York, passed away, at the age of 86. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Henry lived a life filled with love, hard work, and dedication to his family. Henry's journey began in Brooklyn where he grew up and developed his strong work ethic. Despite only receiving an eighth-grade education, he proved his resilience and determination throughout his life. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary Engo, brother Peter Engo and his two children Joseph Arthur and Adam George. Henry devoted himself to his profession, spending time with his loved ones and his Catholic Faith. Hank always made the most of his time with his children. His commitment to those he held dear was unwavering, and he played an integral role in their lives. Henry leaves behind a deeply saddened daughter, Lydia Donahue, sons Henry (Renee) Engo Jr. , Fr. David Mary Engo, Brian Engo, and Dennis (Leslie) Engo who will forever cherish the countless memories they shared with their father. Grandfather of Angela, Anthony (Giselle), Daniel (Keri), Katie, Fr. Mathew, Sr. M. Elizabeth Grace FSGM, Meghan, Clare, Mary, Ryan, Eliana, Lorelai, Isabella, Liam, Stellina and great-grandfather of Benjamin. Survived by his sister, Marie (Benny) Bednarik, and beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Henry's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His warm Brooklyn smile, kind heart, and amusing quips, made him a beloved figure in the community. He had an innate ability to speak the truth and not be silent and make everyone feel valued and supported, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to cross his path. Friends and family will meet Monday, December 4, from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM for Visitation, with the Celebration of Mass 10:00 AM at Mother of Good Counsel Nursing Home 6825 Natural Bridge Rd. St. Louis, MO 63121. Interment will follow 12:00 PM Noon at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Alton IL. Anthony (Tony) P. Brocato, age 90, passed away Monday, November 27th, 2023. Tony was born in Helena, Arkansas to Joseph and Mary Brocato. Tony is preceded in death by his siblings Sam (Josephine) Brocato and Angie (Jack) Woodyard. Loving husband for 48 years of the late Carol M. Brocato (Erickson), dear father of John and Laura Brocato. Loving uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many. Tony served his country in the United States Army and worked as an accountant for Crown Zellerbach, James River and Printpack. Tony was actively involved with his children and their activities. He was a man of faith and volunteered willingly as a Sunday school teacher, a Confirmation sponsor and President of the PTA. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to acknowledge the caring staff at Brookdale Creve Coeur, Mercy Hospital and Mercy Hospice. Freda Jo Tiesing who passed away peacefully at the age of 81 years on November 28, 2023, after a long, brave battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born to Willard "Wes" Wampler and Lillian Liley Wampler on March 21, 1942. Freda was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sandra "Sam" Stiegemeier Gray, and brother Kenneth D. "Pete" Joslin. Freda is survived by her daughter Vicky (Dan) Huesemann, son Robert D. (Robyn) Stiegemeier, and grandchildren Tara (Ron) Hendrix, Arin (Logan) Gleissner, Chelsea (Alex) Patt, Raelyn (Jared) Medley, Taylor (Kyle) Stradtman, Whitney (Luke) Morgan, Shaye Smith, Alexandra Gray and Zack Gray. Freda lost years of enjoyment with her great-grandchildren Jacob, Brady, Ethan, Wesley, Sarah, Shelby, Brian, Finley, Jameson, Jaxson, Lake, Leo, Olivia, and Zion. Freda is also survived by her sister Jacklyn Kimbrel and extended family. Freda treasured family, close friends, and co-workers. She worked hard to support her family and was a much-valued employee working in manufacturing at Nike until retiring in 2005. She was known for baking treats (the best pumpkin pie!) and finding second-hand treasures to keep or give away. In memory care, Freda delighted in "Elvis" visits, dancing, desserts, and the Two Rivers Church ministry at Barathaven. The family much appreciated her caregivers at Barathaven and Solace Hospice and all who participated in her care since her diagnosis. She inspired many with her strong will and determination.
