Francis Kilgallen of Brighton, formerly of Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland, passed away on May 7, 2023. Beloved husband for 60 years to Sheila (Faherty) Kilgallen. Loving son of Sarah and Michael Kilgallen. Devoted father of Sarah Fabian and her husband Richard of Windham, NH, Mary Kilgallen, William Kilgallen and his wife Susan, Sean Kilgallen and Francis Kilgallen all of Brighton. Loving grandfather of Jaquelyn and her husband Brian, Richie and fiancee Madison, Sean, Liam and Aidan. Brother of Joe, Mike and Tom Kilgallen and the late Pat, John, Nora, Jimmy, Billy and Vincent. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home 63 Chestnut Hill Ave. (near Brighton Courthouse) BRIGHTON on Friday May 12th at 8:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church 321 Market St Brighton at 9:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting Hours on Thursday May 11th from 4-8pm in the funeral home. Frank was longtime member of the St. Columbkille Gaelic Football Club and Laborers Union Local 151.
