Francisco Guerrero Obituary

Francisco Guerrero, 99, of Hart, died Monday, April 24, 2023. Rosary will be said at 7:00 p. m. , Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at St. John's Catholic Church in Hart. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a. m. , Thursday, April 27, 2023, at St. John's Catholic Church, in Hart, with Fr. Raj Malapady officiating. Interment will follow at Hart Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 6:00 p. m. , Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Ramage Funeral Directors, in Olton. Francisco was born January 23, 1924, in Huacasco, Jalisco, Mexico, to Jose and Guadalupe (Bonilla) Guerrero. On February 2, 1942, Francisco married Maria Auxilio Gonzalez and they were married over 65 years. He moved to the Hart area in 1982 and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. A hardworking farmer and rancher, Francisco enjoyed roping and riding bulls. After retiring, Francisco loved working in the yard, taking walks, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maria, in 2007, a son, Arturo Guerrero in 2014, two sisters, and one brother. Survivors include four sons, Aurelio Guerrero and his wife Maria of Edmonson, Jose Guerrero and his wife Rosalia of Praxedis, Mexico, Efren Guerrero and his wife Luz of Odessa, and Raul Guerrero of Edmonson, four daughters, Socorra Rosales and her husband Lorenzo of Praxedis, Mexico, Olivia Carreon and her husband Alvaro of Odessa, Guadalupe Rodriguez and her husband Jesus of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Herlinda Guerrero of Hart, and one brother, Efren Guerrero of Plainview.
