Francis Eugene Myers, 79, of Lewisberry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5th at home surrounded by his loving family. Francis was born in Goldsboro to the late Reed and Mabel Myers. He was a member of Eberly’s Mill Church of God, a 1962 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, a life member of Fairview Township Fire Company and New Cumberland River Rescue. He was also a former Scout leader for Pack 198 of Etters. He retired after 53 years from Montour Oil Company. Francis was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth and his Aunt Naomi Houck. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Rosemary, his sons, Brian and Christopher, Christopher’s wife April, grandchildren Ian and Sydney and 1 nephew Lee Myers. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be from 2:30 until Memorial Services at 3:30pm Saturday, October 14th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. YORK--Keith W. Snyder, 68, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at Amoroso Wellness--York. He was the husband of Lisa A. (Hopkins) Snyder to whom he was married for 32 years. A Celebration of Life of Service will be 7:00PM, Wednesday November 29, 2023 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. , 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Officiating the service will be Certified Celebrant Allison R. Duke. A viewing will be held from 6:00 - 7:00PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private In Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Born October 08, 1955 in York, he was the son of Susanne M. (Mann) Snyder and the late Walter E. Snyder. He was employed with Johnson Controls for 45 years and retired in 2021 as a Test Lab Operator. A United States Air Force veteran, he served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Victory and Prince Athletic Associations, enjoyed riding his Harley, skiing, trips to the beach and music, especially the Rolling Stones. In addition to his wife, Keith is also survived by daughters, Sierra N. Huber and her husband, Justin of Windsor, Briana A. Snyder of Vancouver, WA and Brynn A. Snyder of New York City; three grandchildren, Landen, Audrey and Carley Huber; one brother, Robert E. Snyder of Juniata; two sisters, Kathleen D. Zawacki of Coopersburg and Maureen C. Filmore with whom she spent the last 40 years. DOVER- Gary L. Poe, 77, died on Friday, November 17, 2023 at UPMC Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Paulette E. (Stambaugh) Poe to whom he was married for 59 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 12 p. m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. , 1551 Kenneth Rd. , York with Mahlon Hege officiating. A viewing will be from 10 a. m. to 12 p. m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Salem Union Cemetery in Dover. Born on October 11, 1946 in Strinestown, he was a son of the late Giles and Helen (Anderson) Poe. Gary was a farmer, auctioneer and owned Budget Furniture in York. Mr. Poe was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Beef Quality Association and the NRA. He was a life member of the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association. His passion was farming and auctioneering. Along with his wife, Paulette, Gary is survived by two sons, Blaine Poe and his wife, Pamela of Dover and Brian Poe and his wife, Tasha of Wellsville; five grandchildren, Emily Poe, Katlyn Poe, Samantha Poe, Cory Poe and Kyle "Andrew" Poe; two great grandchildren, Charlotte and Madelyn; brother, Jeffrey Poe and his wife, Deb of Dover; and sister, Raejean Mitzel of York.
