Francis Myers Obituary

Francis Eugene Myers, 79, of Lewisberry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5th at home surrounded by his loving family. Francis was born in Goldsboro to the late Reed and Mabel Myers. He was a member of Eberly’s Mill Church of God, a 1962 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, a life member of Fairview Township Fire Company and New Cumberland River Rescue. He was also a former Scout leader for Pack 198 of Etters. He retired after 53 years from Montour Oil Company. Francis was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth and his Aunt Naomi Houck. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Rosemary, his sons, Brian and Christopher, Christopher’s wife April, grandchildren Ian and Sydney and 1 nephew Lee Myers. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be from 2:30 until Memorial Services at 3:30pm Saturday, October 14th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
