Francine Gertrude Neff, 90, of Lynn Haven, gained her angel wings on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Francine was born on January 23, 1933 in Etna, PA where she met and married her sweetheart, William James Neff. She worked and retired from the Christian Brothers Mission in Pittsburgh, PA. Francine loved to crochet and loved arts & crafts. She was also a devout Catholic. Francine loved her Miniature Schnauzer named Woody. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Neff; son, William Neff, Jr. ; sister, Pauline; and brother, Paul. Left to treasure Francine's memory are her daughters, Sharon Mayhew of Lynn Haven, FL, Sandra Cvetnick of Pittsburgh, PA and Nadine Herrington of Rockledge, FL; sister, Bernadette; brother, Frank; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Judith Jones Sayre 2-7-66/11-30-23 PCB, FL, Judith Jones Sayre "Judy" of PCB, FL passed away at HCA Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City FL from an aggressive form of Lung Cancer and COPD, she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren, mom, sister and nephew. Judy was born in Warner Robins at Houston Healthcare the first-born daughter of Andrew M Jones, SR, and Linda Savage Huber. She spent early childhood in Hawkinsville and Dry Branch GA then moved to Centerville GA. Attended Northside Schools. She married young and produced the pride of her life, her children. Judy was preceded in death by her sister, Davina Lewandowski, father, Buck Jones, brother Andy Jones, grandparents Jay and Jerrie Savage, Andrew Jones and Laurine Pierce. Judy was a master painter, owning Family Paint and Repair for the majority of her life. She was very artistic, and her work was in high demand. Judy's other great passion was her children and grandchildren. She raised them with wild abandon. She spent her life providing for, teaching and educating her kids and grandkids on the importance of a strong work ethic. She was always ready to host a large or small family get together and loved living life to the fullest. Curtis Brown, born on March 1, 1958, was a beloved man who touched the hearts of all who knew him. As a child, he was raised in New Kent, Virginia, and later graduated from New Kent High School in 1976. In 1978, Curtis married his devoted wife, Cindy. They were married for 45 years and together they had four children: Patirece, Telisha, Curtis Jr. , and Destinee. Curtis had a lasting commitment to his loved ones. Curtis had a strong sense of duty and joined the United States Army in August of 1976. During his 13 years of service, he received several awards, including a Good Conduct Medal (with Bronze, 3 loops), the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 1), the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon, and the Expert Badge (Rifle and Hand Grenade). In October of 1986, Curtis was Honorably Discharged from the army after serving for over 13 years. In 1991, his family relocated to Panama City, Florida. Curtis had many passions, including his love for sweets, especially his sweet potato pie, spending time with his granddaughter Maya, dancing, keeping his grass cut and cars clean and pristine. He was a devoted Facilities Engineer at Rosenwald High School for over 20 years and committed 5 years of hard work to Trane. A devout Christian who lived his life with unwavering faith, Curtis was active in his church community at Living Word Church. He had a unique way of saying "man" that will always be remembered by those who knew him. Curtis's legacy will live on in the memories of those who loved him, and his presence will be missed dearly. Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Malinda Brown; his brother, Alfred Brown; his sister, Flora Christian; his aunt, Elizabeth Minor; and his uncle, Roland Minor. Curtis leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Cyndia Brown; four children, Patirece Brown, Telisha Brown, Curtis Brown Jr. , and Destinee Brown; one granddaughter, Maya Adeleye; two brothers, Roger Brown (Betty) and Robert Brown, Jr. ; two aunts, Phyllis Minor and Maryland Minor; one uncle, Bernard Minor (Sharon); and host of in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 a. m. at Living Word Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Gwen LaBeau NeSmith, age 58, of Panama City Beach, Florida passed away on November 19, 2023. Gwen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 5, 1965 to Harold and Maureen LaBeau in Minot, North Dakota. Gwen was a Lakota Native American and a proud member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. Gwen will be remembered for being a wonderful loving wife, mother, and "GiGi" to her grandson. She was the light in every room she entered. To know her was to love her. Gwen's quirky personality will be remembered by many for she was always laughing and making the best out of every situation. Gwen was a very caring person, always willing to help others in need. Gwen worked as a dental assistant before starting Lakota Solutions LLC, a government contracting business. She operated Lakota Solutions until her retirement in December 2021. She attended Eastgate church and was a member of New Elim Baptist church. She is survived by her husband, Kevin NeSmith; son, KC NeSmith; daughter, Savanna Millican; grandson, Emerson; brother, Wayne LaBeau; sister, Natasha Davis; stepmom, Patty LaBeau; and a large extended family. Joan (Jo) Alice LaValley 88, of Peppertree Ct, Panama City FL. Passed away Saturday November 4th, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 22nd, 1935, in Schuyler Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Ross and Bessie (Brelia) Supernaw. Jo is survived by her husband Lawrence J. LaValley and brother Bert Supernaw. Her children, Barry (Lana) Bruno, Vicki (David) Clum, Scott (Tracie) LaValley. Her Grandchildren Micki (Eric) Kunzman, Casey Lee (Casey Renee) Wyatt, Baylee (Michael) Bruno, and Alexis LaValley. Her Great Grandchildren, Rylan, A'Mari, Christian, A'Mayah, Karlie, Caylen, Ashton, and Kolten; sister-in-laws, Lucy LaValley and Marion Dragoon; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jo had a huge heart and loved all her kids, grands, greats and anyone she befriended as family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters and brothers; Dorothy (Gladys), Isabelle, Phyllis, Helen, Kenneth and Donald. Jo resided in Peru and Chateaugay, NY for most of her full life and loved the outdoors, gardening and travel. She was able to take a dream trip to Italy with her daughter, nieces, and sister Helen. She was even able to travel to Guatemala with Hearts in Motion humanitarian teams to help those in need. Jo volunteered her time at United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) to love-on the babies. Everyone knew if there was a baby it was now known as "her baby". She also loved her cruises, card games and casino trips with her friends and family. The family will have a celebration of life for Jo at a later date in NY. Robert Drew Johnson, 72, of Bayou George, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 3, 2023 at his home, surrounded by loved ones. Robert was born on September 12, 1951 in Blountstown. He worked as a Brick Mason and owned his own business for 48 years, Johnson's Masonry. Robert also served as a vocational instructor at Northwest Florida Reception Center. He worked the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in 2010-2011 in Perdido Key, FL. His hobbies included watching NASCAR races (Gator Nationals), woodworking, coin collecting and camping. Above all, he loved being a family man, spending time with his family and friends. Robert was a light-hearted person with a great sense of humor, who could make everyone smile. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, W. T. and Bessie Johnson; brother, William Jake Johnson; and granddaughter, Tolar Renee Coatney. Left to treasure Robert's memory is his wife of 52 years, Marty Johnson; daughters, Ashley Coatney (Marty) and Lindsey Renee Johnson; sisters, Betty Sue Smeby and Dottie Lee; sister-in-law, Shelia Johnson; grandchildren, Easton Robert Thibodaux, Kinzie Reese Thibodaux and King David Coatney; many loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and his special dog Little Bit.
