Francesco 'Frank' C. Raiti 86, of Central Square, NY formerly of the Camden area passed away June 16, 2022 at Bishop Rehabilitation and Nursing, Syracuse, NY. He was born Aug 5, 1935 in Victor, NY a son of Giuseppe & Sebatiana Seminara Raiti and was a graduate of Red Creek High School. He served in the U. S. Army before graduating from Morrisville College and attending Cornell University. On August 8, 1959, he married the former MaryLynn Holtsbery in St. John the Evangelist Church, Syracuse, NY. Frank worked for Kraft Foods and Bristol -Myers before purchasing the Redfield Cheese Factory. He owned and operated the cheese factory until 1979. He retired as a truck driver with McClain Northeast. Frank was a former member of the Camden Rotary Club. Attended the former St. Paul's Church, Redfield, NY, St. Mary's Church, Florence, NY and St. John's Church, Camden, NY, prior to attending Divine Mercy, Central Square, NY. Frank was also an avid sailer. Surviving besides his wife, MaryLynn, are a daughter, Hollis Anne & Tom Scott, Norwood, NY, sons, Joseph & Becky Raiti, Frank & Jennifer Raiti all of Manassas, VA, and Christopher & Claudia Raiti, Oxnard, CA, 11 grandchildren; Daniel and Nicole Consiglio, Elizabeth and Thomas Scott, Frank, Nicholas, Michael, Anthony, Marissa Raiti and Erica Rakala and Reuben Raiti, two great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Michael Raiti, a brother, Concetto Raiti and a sister, Carmela Shafer. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Covenant House, NYC or Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, Chicago, IL. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from Divine Mercy Parish, Central Square, NY under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc. , Camden, NY at a day and time to be announced.
