Fonda Chandler Obituary

Fonda Charlene Chandler (Sprinkle), age 79, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 10, 2023 at Highland District Hospital. She was born November 23, 1943, in Highland County, the daughter of the late Clifford Eugene and Adelia Irene (Cochran) Sprinkle. She had lived at the Pants Factory Apartments for several years. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Linda S. Sprinkle of Hillsboro; two nieces, Tracy (Craig) Hall of Sidney, Terra (James) Burton of Hillsboro and a nephew Travis Sprinkle of Hillsboro; twelve great nieces and nephews. Fonda had numerous special friends. She loved taking care of her cats, her plants and was very devoted to her family genealogy. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in the class of 1961. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Eugene Sprinkle. In keeping with her wishes, the graveside services will be at 1:00 p. m. Friday, September 15, 2023 at New Market Cemetery. Gary Furnish will officiate. Friends are welcome to attend. Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
