Floyd Charles Wulfeck went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2023 at the age of 86. He was born May 15, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in Silverton by his parents Charlie and Betty Wulfeck. He graduated from Woodward High School and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1955. He progressed to the rank of Sergeant and then became a Warrant Officer. He retired as a Captain on December 31, 1975 after 20 plus years of service. He was deployed many time around the world, including the Vietnam War. Floyd met his first wife and mother of his 3 children, Patsymae Woomer, in Hawaii in 1960. After retirement they settled in Reidsville, NC, where he was employed by Isometrics as the quality control manager. He was an elder of Reidsville Christian Church and very active in the community including the Chamber of Commerce and the Boy Scouts of America. He remained in Reidsville until after Patsymae's death in 2006. Floyd reunited with Judith Mart Manzler at their 50th High School reunion in Cincinnati. They married in 2007 and eventually moved to Milford, Ohio, a place where Floyd had many fond childhood memories and deep family connections. Both Floyd and Judy were active members of Mt. Repose Church in Milford. Floyd is survived by his beloved wife Judy Wulfeck of Milford, his children Sam Wulfeck (Karen) of Virginia, David Wulfeck of NC, Cyndi Pratt of Virginia, Judy's children David Manzler, Doug Manzler, and Birdie Cotes (Eddie) all of Ohio, and his 8 grandchildren, Alexa, Marianne, Chance, Henry, Simon, Oscar, Kelly and Kasey. He is also survived by 5 sisters in love, Nancy Barnes (Gary), Melva Wilzbach (Scott), Lynne Wesner (DeWayne), LeeAnne Julius, and Kay Schell (Ray), as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Although small in stature, he will always be remembered for his big heart, strong values, and great sense of humor. A celebration of life service will be held on 10/8/23 at 2:30pm at Mt Repose Church in Milford, Ohio. Dick Rieger passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023 at the age of 93 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Lydia Rieger, his three children, Jane Rieger, Anne Matthews, Rick (Susan) Rieger, Lydia's son Mike (Vicki) Haas and daughter Melissa, and three grandchildren, John Michael Rieger, Katie Rieger and Matthew (Chi Le) Rieger. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy H. Rieger, his brother Tom Rieger and his parents Harold and Jane (nee Siegfried) Rieger. Born in Toledo, Ohio on July 24, 1930 the family later moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1948 and attended Michigan State University on a combined ROTC and tennis scholarship where he studied Chemical Engineering. Dick was the captain of the Michigan State tennis team that won the Big 10 tennis championship in 1951. After graduating from Michigan State in 1952, he married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Hotop. They moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he served as an Army 1st Lieutenant at Sandia Base on a top secret nuclear weapons program during the Korean War. After his active duty military service he held the rank of Captain in the inactive Army Reserves. After being discharged from the Army he joined Union Carbide as a sale representative and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. Later, he ran his own company, RHR Enterprises, that specialized in hot stamp foils. Dick was a natural athlete and soon found the game of golf. He was invited to join Maketewah Country Club in 1961. He was a member at Maketewah for 62 years where he won a club championship. He continued to play his beloved game of golf as recently as October in an ORFs (Old Retired Folks) outing. He enjoyed putting with the Xavier University golf team at Maketewah during the winter months where he joined his fellow ORFs for weekly lunches. Additionally, in his retirement, he joined the Great Lakes Senior Golf League and traveled to many of the finest golf courses. In addition to golf and tennis, he enjoyed the symphony, politics and football. He was an original Bengals season ticket holder. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, Dick will long be remembered by those he so dearly loved. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26th starting at 11:00 AM at Gilligan Funeral Home in Kenwood to be followed by a brief Memorial Service at 11:30 am. Loving Son of the late Harry and Rita Cappel. Devoted father of Terra and Nick (Lisa) Cappel . Loving grandfather of Jared, Kaylee, Penny and Maddie. Dear brother of Jennifer (Jerry) Gamel, Jeff Cappel, Harriet (Gordon) Cappel, Donald (Wyndi) Cappel and Larry Cappel . Preceded in death by Mike Cappel (Debbie) and Joe Cappel. Loving uncle to Shelly, Harry, Patrick, Candace, Kasey, Dusty, Robyn, Emily, Nathan, Quinn, Demi, Veronica, Joe, and Lauren. Terry was a proud graduate of Elder High School where he ran track and cross country and he dearly loved the Price Hill community. Terry was drafted in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Terry retired from the United States Post Office. Terry had many hobbies. He loved the Cincinnati Reds and music of the band Chicago, television shows and movies. You could ask Terry any question about a movie, band or baseball player and he knew the answer! He was the first one on your phone a friend list. He was passionate about the Cincinnati Reds he kept up the stats on all the players for the past 50 years. Terry was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1987. Later in life he wasn't able to attend Reds games and Elder football games with his family, he would call his siblings to discuss the past and present games he made sure we all knew when the Reds were on! Christian Charles Hansen JR, Age 94, formerly of the Toledo and Wilmington areas, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning December 5, 2023 at the Llanfair Retirement Community in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born October 15, 1929 in Plainfield, New Jersey, son of the late Christian Charles & Elsie Catherine (Stehlgens) Hansen SR. A US Navy Korean War Veteran, Christian retired as an Engineering Supervisor for Verizon Telephone after 35 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post #335, where he was the former commander, Kiwanis Club of Wilmington & Perrysburg, and the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington. Surviving are his son- Mark (Angie) Hansen of Olive Hill, TN; daughter- Anne (David) Reid of Cincinnati; grandchildren- Jennifer, Melanie, Gregory, Lydia, & Rebecca, and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Christian was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years- Shirley Ann (Gordon) Hansen. Friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of services on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.
