Fidelfa Santos Obituary

Fidelfa "FeFe" Franco De Los Santos went to be with her Lord April 24, 2023 at 5:52 a. m. She was 79 years old. Fidelfa is survived by her children Jimmy De Los Santos, Jr. of Big Spring, TX, Norina Dingas of Corsicana, TX, Lucinda Lopez of Ackerly, TX and Denise Olague of Odessa, TX. She had 11 beautiful grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Husband Jimmy De Los Santos, father Erasmo Franco of Lubbock, TX, mother Maria Franco of Lubbock, TX, brother Robert Franco of Ackerly, TX, brother Isreal Franco of Ackerly, TX, brother Ishmael Franco of Ackerly, TX and brother Albert Franco of Ackerly, TX. Fefe was born on September 20, 1943 in Karnes City, TX to Erasmo and Maria Franco, along with 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She was married to Jimmy De Los Santos August 20, 1960. Fefe and her husband Jimmy with their children settled in Ackerly, Tx in 1969. Fefe was a homemaker sporadically taking part-time jobs in the community; the local store selling burritos, working in the school cafeteria or doing what she was best known for, altering or sewing clothing. She loved cross-stitching, quilting, crocheting, and sewing. She also spent many years caring for children in the community, many that continued relationships with her as they became adults. She will be remembered by her feistiness, quick wit and her ability to make the very best barbecue. Services are to be held at First Baptist Church, Ackerly, Texas at 10:00 am officiated by Dr. Stan Blevins, followed by graveside service and small reception. Pallbearers are grandsons Jeffrey De Los Santos, Seth Dingas, Theron Dingas, Gavin Ramirez, Jordan Ramirez and Justin Perry. Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
