Felix Adalberto Rosario Vasquez (53) of Paterson, passed away on October 2nd, 2023. Born in the Dominican Republic to Andres Rosario and Ana Virginia Baez. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 8th, 2023 from 2:00pm-6:00pm in Funeraria Alvarez de Paterson, 267 Park Avenue, Paterson NJ. Burial will take place in Cementerio Municipal de Villa Riva, Dominican Republic.

Cesar Emilio Freytes (70), of Paterson, New Jersey suddenly and sadly passed away on December 6th, 2023. Cesar was born to Emilio Freytes and Georgina Sanchez on February 11, 1953, in Manati Puerto Rico. He had a huge love for cars, mostly Buicks, Cadillacs and Thunder birds, which he owned all through the years. While in high school he started his first job as a stock boy at Elliot's jewelers on Main Street in Paterson. From being just a stock boy he became a sales person to then achieving half ownership of Elliotts. He retired after 40 years and moved back to his home of birth Puerto Rico. There he worked an additional 10 years in the jewelry business before returning back to New Jersey. Cesar was loved by everyone he met, he was social and outgoing. And was a very funny and silly guy. Cesar was the life of the party, he loves his salsa music, dancing, and singing to it all night long, if you allowed him to. His love for his family was evident. His children and grandchildren were the love of his life and till the end he shared his best moments with them. Cesar, is survived by his wife, Noemi Freytes, three children, daughter Gesele, son in law Lee, sons Cesar and Michael. He's also survived by his five grandchildren, Bryan, Tiffany, Jayden, Ariana, and Liliana (also known as his potatoes and tomatoes. ) His sister Madeline Freytes, niece Stephanie, a host of family members and a multitude of friends who will forever cherish his memory. Mrs. Martha "Chickie" Belton was born on January 3, 1938, in Rutherfordton, North Carolina to the late James Mc Entyre and Emma Stroud. She attended The Rutherford County school system in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, Martha relocated to Paterson, New Jersey in 1955. Martha met and married Ernest Belton on November 7, 1958. She was employed at Thermwell Products in Paterson, New Jersey for many years. Also, she did domestic work for the Weiss family in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Martha was the epitome of LOVE. . . there are other words that would describe her. She was Jane of all trades. She loved sewing, cooking, decorating, the holidays, especially Christmas. Let me not forget, she was the BINGO Queen. Martha's way of life declined a decade ago, but through her illness she still had the same loving spirit. On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, she transitioned Peacefully at Preakness Healthcare Center. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Belton, her parents James McEntyre & Emma Stroud, 8 siblings, Maggie Mc Entyre, James McEntyre, Jack McEntyre, Peggy Ann Rollins (McEntyre), Robert McEntyre, Charles McEntyre, Donald Ray McEntyre (her twin) and Hazel Hamrick-Lee. Nieces and Nephews whom she was close to, Calvin Phillips, Monty Rollins, Debra McClam & Monty Rollins &; Shadeen Wright. Martha leaves to cherish her Life and Legacy: 2 sons, Robert McEntyre of Paterson, NJ, and Qaadir Sekhem Ra of Maryland, one daughter, Teressa Gordon of Paterson, NJ, devoted daughter-in-law, Wanda Nsamanfoo We of Maryland, devoted son-in-law Walwyn A. Gordon of Paterson, NJ. 4 grandchildren, Rashad "Self" Davis, Tesynia Aries Taylor, Makeba (Hakim) AbdulRahman and Nia Tamar Belton; 9 great-grands, Qyere Lango, Omysha Davis, Leilani Capri Taylor, Uhurah Z. Bey, Caleb Alfieri, Cairo Alfieri, Cadence Alfieri, Caius Alfieri and Ozma Saadiyah AbdulRahman Roberson; great-great grands, Sincere &; Antoria Lango, and a Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Show more
