Faith Mincks Obituary

Faith Hope Mincks, of Harrison, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was 70 years old. The daughter of Oren E. and Mildred D. (Whitney) Moore was born on February 20, 1953 in Springfield, Missouri. In her younger years, Faith enjoyed roller skating and used her roller-skating talent as a carhop for Sonic. She enjoyed painting and baking her ceramic works and was always excited to find a new crocheting pattern to try out. Faith's cooking and baking skills were truly a masterpiece. She also loved listening to music and enjoyed playing several instruments including the piano, organ, accordion and French horn. Faith truly enjoyed her career as a part of the janitorial staff with the Harrison School District for many years. She was a selfless person who truly had a passion for helping others and was always putting others first. Her generous spirit touched many and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father; an infant daughter, Camille; and a baby brother, Job. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Mincks and Crystal Mincks (Brett Cornwell); her mother, Mildred Moore; four grandchildren, Nicole Villines, Tyler Poole, Candice Wilson (Dede), and Lacy Fraley; two brothers, Richard Moore and George Moore (Thelma); one sister, Irene McClain (Jerry); four nephews, Oren Lee, Raymond, Job, and Charlie; one great nephew, Jake; and several other great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 5:00 to 7:00 PM A graveside service will be held at a later date.
