Evelyn Lynn Maxwell, 83, of Denison, Texas, peacefully passed away on the morning of June 19th after a multi-year battle with an ovarian tumor. Evelyn Lynn Maxwell was born on January 7, 1939 to parents Winston Odell and Georgia Frances Maxwell. She was the oldest of three children. In her youth, Evelyn had many interests. She enjoyed playing the accordion, going to beauty school, and driving fast cars. She often spoke fondly of her lime green '57 Chevy that her brother Ronnie fixed-up to go "just a little faster. " In her spare time she loved to listen to music, play games, and ride horses. In her later years she became quite the movie buff. She had amassed quite a collection of DVDs and could tell you about every one of them. Her favorite actors were John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. She loved watching westerns. Evelyn had such a sweet personality. She was always generous and caring to everyone. Gifts were her love language. Evelyn was preceded in death by son Jeffrey David Maxwell, grandson Georgee Scilley and great grandson little Rickey Scilley. She is survived by Reba Sue Bilderback (sister), Ronnie Dale Maxwell (brother), Carl Maxwell (son), Tammy Boyett (daughter), seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
