Hannah "Darlene" Ramsey, 63, of Indore, WV, entered into her heavenly home, November 30th, 2023. Darlene was loved and cherished greatly by her family and friends. She touched the lives of everyone she knew with her kindness and love for life. Darlene spent her days enjoying every milestone with her family, whether it be a birthday, ballgame, or campfire. Darlene was a devoted Christian and member of the Lizemores Methodist Church. Born March 25th, 1960, in Charleston WV, she was the daughter of the late John Humphrey and Audrey Humphrey Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William "Carroll" Ramsey; sisters, Mary Trexlor and Emma Orndorff, both of Illinois; brother, Robert "Eugene" Humphrey of Indore. She leaves behind her loving sons, Jeremiah (Mary) Ramsey of Indore, Justin (Shayna) Ramsey of Lizemores and Hunter Ramsey also of Indore. Also surviving are her much loved grandbabies, Levi, Lexi, Isaiah, Mariah, Sevana, Sara, Eli and Penny. Darlene was a great-grandmother to Asher Ramsey and Madison Salisbury. She is also survived by her brothers, John (Dorothy) Humphrey, Wesley Humphrey, Danny (Melissa) Humphrey and sisters, Betty Rogers, Nancy Mooday, Cora (Jerry) Thornberry and Linda (Guy) Stewart. She had many dearly loved nieces, nephews and friends. Darlene will forever be loved and missed by so many. Funeral Service will be held at Lizemores Methodist Church, December 8th, 2023, viewing will be at 1:00 pm and the funeral at 2:00 pm with officiating Pastors Don Dobbins and Barry McCune. Jackie James Cummings, 27, of Clay, WV gained his heavenly wings and went to be with the Lord on September 24th, 2023. He was born on February 29th, 1996. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Beverly Coen; paternal grandparents, Wesley and Patricia Cummings; Aunt, Melissa Drake; and cousins, Michael Keiffer, Isaac Murphy, and Bradley Wilson. He is survived by his parents, James Cummings of Left Hand, WV, and Jerri Drake, of Gassaway, WV; maternal grandfather, Jerry Drake of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters, Jennifer (Logan) Wilson of Flatwoods, WV; Jaycee and Jemma Cummings of Clendenin, WV; Jozie and Jozelyn Cummings of Clay, WV; nephews, Wesley and Walker Smith of Flatwoods, WV; and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him dearly. The Mollohan family also played an important role in Jack's life, including Clark, Fannie, Michael, and Patrick. Jack was a graduate of Clay County High School and a State Champion wrestler in 2014. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, dirt bikes, and making others laugh. He had an infectious smile, outgoing personality, and such a generous heart. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was loved very much, and he will be missed dearly. He leaves behind many memories to cherish, and he will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, support, and donations throughout this difficult time. We will forever be grateful. Richard Lewis Vaughan was welcomed into his Savior's arms on November 17, 2023. He was born on April 1, 1947 to Glada and Ray Vaughan of Ivydale, one of 13 children. Richard was passionate about his beautiful garden, his Grandchildren, Bluegrass music, his Church (Nebo Baptist Church) and Church family, and he loved sitting on the porch with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lisa Lowe Vaughan; his sons Rusty (Marina) of Beckley and Aaron (Connie) of Norfolk, Va, and Stepdaughter Rebekah Nuckles of Salisbury, Pa; Grandsons Jacob, Jon and Justin; Granddaughters Sidney, Sarah and Sadie; Great Grandchildren Enzley and Lincoln. He is also survived by Brothers Harold of Ivydale, Terry and Garrett of Cross Lanes, Sisters Gloria Woods and Jewel Browning of Strange Creek, Joyce Samples of Frametown, Sharon Vaughan of Charleston and Shyrle Samples of Clay. Those who have gone before him are his Sister Jean, Brothers Roger, Larry and James (Bimbo). Richard served in the United States Army and retired from Frontier Communications. He will always be remembered for his gentle spirit and his kind smile. Services will be held at Nebo Baptist Church on November 27, 2023, with visitation beginning at 12:00 pm and the service will follow at 2:00 pm with Kenneth Tanner and Dwight Goff officiating.
