He was past President of the Scottsville Girl's Softball and the first girl's field was built under his tenure in 1975; softball coach of the Little Darlings (Junior League) and the Blue Angels (Senior league), softball coach for one of the first travel teams in Allen County-the Lady Blues, and sanctioned Softball umpire in the 4th Region (1986-1989). He was past President of the Lady Patriot Basketball Booster Club (1983-1986), and the First Lady Invitational of the South basketball tournament was started under his tenure in 1983, sponsored by Danny Tabor and WLCK. He was a son of the late Robert Clayborn Logsdon and Idrice Layfell Stinson Logsdon.
