Eva Gamboa Obituary

Eva Valdez Gamboa, 56, peacefully passed away on April 8, 2023. She was born December 2, 1966 to Bartolo Gamboa and the late Andrea Gamboa in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Left to treasure her memory are her children, Armando Valdez Jr. , Ana Karen Valdez, Amanda Lee Valdez, America Valdez, and Ramiro Valdez; her grandchildren, Armando Valdez III, Miguel Alvarado, Vicente Valdez, Kendra Valdez, Juan Tovar, Aaron Rodriguez, Adrian Rodriguez, Yolima Rangel, Aleena Lemus, Anthony Jay Lemus Jr. , Pristyne Valdez, and Priya Valdez. Eva is also survived by her siblings, Ernestina Gamboa, Zulema Gamboa, Sylvia Gamboa, Cecilia Gamboa, Jose Adan Gamboa, and Francisco Javier Gamboa. Visitation will take place Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p. m. A funeral service will take place Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the funeral home at a time to be announced. Following the service, Eva will be laid to rest at San Benito Memorial Park Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Armando Valdez Jr. , Francisco Javier Gamboa, Gilbert Ibarra, Ramiro Valdez, Armando Valdez III, and Jose Adan Gamboa. Eva's father, Bartolo Gamboa, and her spouse, Armando Valdez, will serve as honorary pallbearers.
