Eusebia Leon Diaz, 95, of Methuen, MA peacefully passed away on September 10, 2023. Born on August 14, 1928 in her native Country Dominican Republic, Eusebia came to United States 20 years ago to live closer to her Children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her morning coffee, was great at Knitting, and loved to cook, but she loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her Kindness and infectious Smile and laugh. Eusebia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her children Yolanda, Luis, Maria, Mercedes, Diogene, Maria, and Marino. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grand children, her brother, and sisters, nieces and nephews. Eusebia will be greatly missed and she will live forever in our hearts.

"William F. Kennedy "Bill" passed away on December 3, 2023. A loving husband and father who nearly always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye, Bill was a respected teacher and community member. He was loved by and will be dearly missed by all. The son of Richard F. and Elizabeth M. Kennedy, he received his education at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA, his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and his Master's degree from Northeastern University. He completed further studies at MIT before entering into a Ph. D. Program in Physics at Boston University. After his graduation from UMass, he worked at Avco Corp in Lawrence and Wilmington. He also worked at Draper Labs at MIT. While at B. U. , he accepted a teaching position as an Assistant Professor in Physics at Merrimack College. After 30 years at Merrimack, he retired having served many years as an Associate Professor. Bill is survived by his wife Sheila M. Kennedy; son William J. Kennedy and his wife Shelley Phelps; daughter Kathleen Kennedy and her husband David Goodman; grandchildren Tyler and Zoe Goodman, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by siblings John Kennedy, Marguerite Raymond, Frances Hebert, and Charles Kennedy. Josephine M. (Pappalardo) Benigno, 101, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, December 3, 2023, with her loving family at her side. She was the beloved wife of Sam R. Benigno, with whom she shared sixty-five wonderful years in marriage. Born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of John and Antonietta (DiMauro) Pappalardo, Josephine was a graduate of Lawrence High School and earned a beautician's license by attending night school. She worked at Greico Brothers at that time, where she met her sweetheart, Sam, at the age of nineteen. She opened her own salon, Jo's Beauty Shop, and began a long career in the field. She and Sam were married in 1944 and built a home in Methuen where they raised a family of five children. Even while maintaining a home for her growing family, Josephine continued to operate her own beauty shop from the house in Methuen. It had been her youthful dream to be a beautician or costume-designer in Hollywood and she applied that passion to her work whether professionally or for the people in her life. In addition to hairdressing, her seamstress and clothing design skills were put to good use and each member of the family benefitted from her talent in that area. She and Sam loved to travel and were enthusiastic about cruising. They enjoyed 32 cruises together all around the world, it brought them a lot of joy and she loved to talk about them. Josephine spent much time working in and enjoying her garden. She had a special connection with her flower garden and possessed a magical touch with plants, they thrived under her care. She also was a talented painter and created a number of beautiful oil paintings. She was especially proud that her painting of Abraham Lincoln, which she donated to Methuen City Hall, remains on display there. It is impossible to summarize Josephine's life without highlighting her unmitigated sunniness and positivity. She spread love and joy to others every day of her life. She was known for remembering everyone's birthday and calling them especially to sing "Happy Birthday. " She never hesitated to tell people that she loved them and she expressed her gratitude for being alive daily. Everyone was a recipient of her generosity and consideration throughout the years and she set an example to all who were fortunate enough to know her. A devout catholic, Josephine was a proud member of Holy Rosary Shrine, where she was also a member of St. Rita Sodality where she remained an active member. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her children, Vivian Napoli and her husband Chris Thompson of Underwood, MN, Thomas Benigno and his wife Eva of Methuen, MA, John Benigno of Lawrence, MA, Annette Borrelli and her husband John of Palm Harbor, FL, and Carol A. Anzik and her husband Joseph of Gilroy, CA; eleven grandchildren; twelve great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation hour on Saturday, December 9, 2023, between 8:30-9:30 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Rte. 113, Methuen. Deborah Ann Ayers, 63, of Methuen, passed away unexpectedly November 30, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Patricia Ayers from Georgetown, who passed in 2021 and 2017, respectively. She is survived by her sister, Brenda Ayers Hajec of Bradford and brother, David Ayers and sister-in-law Catherine Ayers of Brewster, MA. She was Aunt Dayday to Alexander Hajec of Bradford and Lauren Hajec of Bothell, Washington, and also an aunt to Sophie, Jack and David Ayers of Brewster. Deborah was born in 1960 and spent her early childhood in Beverly, MA before moving to Georgetown in 1972 and more recently, to Methuen. She graduated from Georgetown High School in 1978 and was also a graduate of the University of Lowell with a B. S. degree in Business. She spent the majority of her career working as a Claims Representative at Travelers Insurance, Peabody and also worked at Parrelli Optical in Danvers. She was a devoted daughter her entire life and also a caretaker to both of her parents in their later years, spending every day with her mother who was struggling with Alzheimer's disease, and later moving in to take care of her father for another four years until he passed. She frequently visited the Georgetown Public Library with her father and regularly took him to the Agawam Diner. She enjoyed restaurants with her family, particularly the Texas Roadhouse with her sister and nephew where they had their own reserved table, game shows and movies, shopping, and celebrating family birthdays and holidays. She had a sharp sense of humor and was quick to tell amusing stories around the table at gatherings. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her and loved her. METHUEN - Allen G. Grew, 76, of Methuen, passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his loving family, on December 3, 2023, due to complications associated with pancreatic cancer. Allen was born in Boston, MA on August 14, 1947 to the late Wilbert G. Grew and Constance (Gosselin) Grew. Allen was a graduate of Saint John's High School of Shrewsbury, MA; received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lowell Technological Institute; and received his Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University. Prior to retirement, Allen had a long and successful career as a Purchasing Manager for several local manufacturing companies. Allen was a superb husband and father, enduring decades of long commutes without complaint to provide for his family and pay for his daughter's college education. Allen enjoyed years of many activities with his brothers, especially traveling together throughout the East Coast on their BMW motorcycles. He spent his retirement selflessly caring for his mother, mother in-law, and brother in-law, and lovingly escorting them on to the next world. Allen's devoted wife worked tirelessly to care for him throughout this illness, allowing him to remain at home as long as possible, per his wishes. Allen's family, friends, and neighbors rallied around him this year in exemplary fashion, providing Allen with love, friendship, laughter, support, and respect. Allen devoted his life to the service of others, his virtues of humility, honesty, faith, courage, gratitude, and service apparent for all to see. Allen is survived by his dear wife of 52 years, Susan (Waitkewich) Grew of Methuen, MA, and his daughter Lisa (Grew) Stuart, son in-law Aaron Stuart, and granddaughter Marina Stuart of Chatsworth, CA. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas Grew of Newmarket, NH; his brother Stephen Grew and sister in-law Carolyn Marcello-Grew of Haverhill, MA; his sister Anne Grew-Hyde and brother in-law Jay Hyde of Sarasota, FL; his brother John Grew and sister in-law Laura Sperazza of South Orange, NJ; his "sister" Joanne Perrotta of Methuen, MA; his cousin Ray Grew and his wife Audrey of Plaistow, NH; and his cousin Linda Bowden of Plaistow, NH. "June Stacy passed away peacefully on Saturday December 2, 2023 at home with her family by her side ending her seven year illness with Alzheimer's Disease. June was born on September 6, 1950 in Lawrence MA to John R Kelley and Josephine Kelley. She attended Lawrence High School and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1972 with a degree in teaching. June married her high school sweetheart, Michael Stacy on June 11, 1972 and raised two loving children, Michael Jr. and Kelley. June spent her entire teaching career in the Town of Methuen, retiring from her position as a fourth grade teacher at the Comprehensive Grammar School. June loved her career as a teacher and the lifelong friendships she developed. Even after retirement, June missed the classroom and returned to the schools as a part time tutor. June most enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. In her retirement years, June and Mike spent as much of their time traveling as possible to escape the winter months. Their favorite destinations included Florida, Hawaii and the Caribbean. June and Mike spent summers at their second home in Cape Neddick Maine, enjoying the ocean view from their trailer, always surrounded by friends and family. June's six grandchildren loved their trips to the campground to collect sea glass with Nana. June was able to remain at home throughout her illness due to the efforts of her husband Mike and the dedicated staff at Silverthorne Day Care who treated June like family. The love and happiness they provided on a daily basis brought great joy to the last chapter of June's life. June is survived by her husband, Michael Stacy of Dracut, her son, Michael Stacy Jr. of New Hampshire, her daughter, Kelley Lussier and husband, Edward Lusssier of Dracut, and her six grandchildren, Taylor Stacy, Andrew Lussier, MacKenzie Stacy, Bryce Stacy, Rachel Lussier, and Brooke Stacy. There will be no services, as the family is having a small celebration of life. "On Monday, December 4, 2023, Calvin R. "Bob" Snell passed away peacefully in his sleep at Westford House Nursing Home, Westford MA from Alzheimer's disease. The son of Mary (Cooney) Snell and Calvin R. Snell, Bob (as friends and family called him) grew up on Pleasant Street in North Andover, MA along with his younger brother. He graduated from Johnson High School in 1952. Bob entered the US Army in 1954 and spent his enlisted years in Frankfort, Germany where he was a personal driver for his commanding officer and worked setting up telephone lines for field communications. All the while maintaining a long-distance relationship with his beautiful fiance and love of his life Marcy (Poirier). They were married on September 16, 1956, a marriage that lasted 66 years until Marcy's passing in 2022. They lived in Methuen, MA for most of those years and raised their two children making many cherished memories with their family. Bob was a self-taught carpenter and did many renovations in their home, as well as making many cabinets and curios for his wife. Bob was an accomplished artist with portraits being his specialty, as people were his favorite subjects. He loved people and would make friends wherever he went. He was a long-time member of St. Monica parish and loved going to church and serving communion and had made many friends there. He was retired from the telephone company after 35\u0026#43; years of service and would sometimes meet some of his old work buddies for lunch at Mama Mary's restaurant. He and Marcy loved to play golf and going out to eat, often taking their grandson along. He was a football fan and when his son joined a Pop Warner team, he became a coach. He went to many Methuen and North Andover high school football games over the years and enjoyed taking his grandson to watch the games with him. Bob loved music. He played the ukelele and enjoyed playing the organ. He also loved to sing, though he was shy to sing in public, but he taught his kids and grandkids a few of the old songs he learned from his father and mother. Bob is survived by his brother, Edward Snell and his wife, Florence, his son, Mark Snell and his wife, Brenda, his daughter, Karen (Snell) Jessee and her husband, Bill, his granddaughter, Ashley (Snell) Larochelle and her husband Roger, his grandson, William Jessee and his great-granddaughter, Finley Larochelle, and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held for the immediate family at the funeral home. Roland C. Parent, 91, died Saturday December 2, 2023. He was born in Van Buren, Maine, the son of the late Edmond and Azilda (Gervais) Parent. He graduated from Van Buren Boys' High School and received undergraduate degrees in accounting and business administration from Bentley College and Suffolk University, respectively. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. Parent was Consumer Products Division Controller at Foster Grant Corporation in Leominster, where he worked for 21 years. He also was controller at Film Microelectronics in North Andover, where he retired in 1997. He was an avid sports fan, especially, the Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics. He leaves his daughter Michelle and her husband, Patrick Wetmore of Dunstable, MA; daughter-in-law Beverly (Brien) Kennedy and her husband, Paul of Methuen; three grandchildren- Brianne Parent Mcrobbie and her husband Jason, Jeffrey Parent and his wife Kelcey and Zoe Wetmore. Mr. Parent leaves his sister-in-law Kathleen Gabriel of North Andover, her children Christina and Peter and their families as well as his niece Diane Sizemore, her husband Rick and daughter Shelby who shared a special relationship. He was predeceased by his wife, Yvonne (Gabriel) in 2009, his son Peter in 2003 and his sister, Aline Duplessis, in 1971.
